Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist
Bibliogryphon replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in DeathList Forum
Glad to see the defence of the inclusion and to put them into some context but in a list like the one above they are names I did not recognise. I understand why with Fontaine and Gehry but I accept that I should have known Kunedra. Still less famous than Stanley Baxter who needs to be in next year to have a race off with Her Majesty -

If you win you get all five - so why not I suspect the US posters might gulp a little at trying to understand the difference between Union & League -
Mentioned him to my wife earlier - not a flicker of recognition. That would have been our era Janet Ellis, Simon Groom & Peter Duncan

Rugby does seem to get a disproportionate consideration Surprised no-one has picked it for Scavenger Hunt yet -
My Auntie was told by her Doctor that he had detected a potential cancer when she was 88. She already had a number of health issues. She asked him straight out "Is that what is going to kill me?" he replied that other health concerns were more pressing so she said lets not worry about it then.

My only thought re Willie Nelson is that he has been quite active and touring and campaigning for charities. This is where it gets difficult because you see people like that and think they look frail but there are probably a lot more frail people who you don't see. However he does strike me as one who would want to go whilst still working -

At the risk of all of these keeling over next month these are the sixteen names I would drop for the 2022 List 1. Shannon Doherty 2. Shane MacGowan 3. Vanessa Redgrave 4. Burt Bacharach 5. Betty Boothroyd 6. Willie Nelson 7. Mel Brooks 8. Linda Nolan 9. Barbara Walters 10. Dick Cheney 11. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei 12. Loretta Lynn 13. Emperor Akihito 14. Dick van Dyke 15. Bernard Cribbins 16. David Crosby The last three were hard to decide upon but I think the others should be off definitely (as things stand) -
May have to revisit my concept of not including her maj on my 2022 shadow list

Dune is absolutely fantastic. The normally picky Mrs Biblo said she could not fault it. -
Kevin Maguire from the Daily Mirror has suggested that Owen Patterson is a risk of a recall ballot after being suspended for 30 days for breaking lobbying rules

No I think they were expected to only grope their own arses. This was quite a few years ago though

A couple of my former colleagues went to work for the Asda clothing brand George. At corporate training events staff were encouraged to perform the Asda value pat.

The calendars and diaries will all be printed already so it would be difficult administratively but all bets would be off because we do not know what the mourning arrangements will be

Someone might bag him for the Advent Avalanche if it runs

Unless there is any evidence of ill health I would not go anywhere near Andrews or Cleese. I don't even think Cleese will be the next Python to go

To me he seems to be a great manager if you want to get promoted from the Championship

The real skill will be working out where Steve Bruce will get his next job

Interesting though that he has outlived three of the five people who followed him into his Shadow cabinet roles
