I think there is internal pressure from the SNP for her to fall on her sword to show the electorate that they are accountable unlike certain other parties where no-one ever seems too resign. Though the moral high ground may have been sacrificed by Nicola Sturgeon's own covid mistake.

Seeing her name trending on Twitter four days after she was included (against all expectations) on the 2021 Deathlist did give me a bit of a "Did the committee have inside information?" Moment but instead she is proving why she should not be on the list. I think Baroness Williams might have been a better pick but still think Douglas Hurd or Norman Tebbit better still.

I wonder if he dared ask her about her inclusion on the Deathlist?

The current era of Doctor Who always gets rough treatment by the fans. It can often only be appreciated with hindsight. There were some good points about the NYD episode but there were some lazy or off points. For die hard Doctor Who fans this feels a bit like the books that were published during the wilderness years. Occasionally there would be a really good one that looked like it would take the series in a brand new direction but it was never followed through. The budget and time constraints are telling but I do not think the show runner has a strong enough grasp of basic storytelling. Too many episodes feel like they have filmed the first draft.

Does it? Where is the game play in it. I thought it was topic based.

I just found a message saying Margaret Tebbit was my wildcard so I needed a new one and just picked one from my list. I didn't actually go back and check the rules.

My original estimate of 15 was possibly conservative so here I have opted for eighteen 1. Prince Phillip 2. Bob Dole (Joker) 3. Rush Limbaugh 4. Bob Barker 5. Jimmy Carter 6. Leslie Phillips 7. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei 8. Jimmy Greaves 9. Barbara Walters 10. Pope Benedict XVI 11. Yoko Ono 12. Linda Nolan 13. Joanne Woodward 14. Jean Marie Le Pen 15. Sidney Poitier 16. Leon Spinks 17. Frank Williams 18. Captain Tom Moore

Robert Englund was in the original series of V and both he & Dourif guest starred in Babylon 5 episodes so it is a surprise they have lasted this long.

Edrich, Atkins, Eden & Urquhart take my total to 14

Unfortunately your fears were realised. He is still alive

No. The process of impeachment is to remove a sitting President. He can be prosecuted for crimes once he has left office but I suspect the investigation trail is so convoluted that it would probably take more years than he has left on this Earth

My replacement wildcard is King Harald of Norway
-
Forgot where I had played him. Worst possible place

If someone made either the drop 40 on the DDP or is included on the Crowdsourced list but is not on the Deathlist then they can be considered a miss. If you have them on your own previously published shadow list you can congratulate yourself on your prescience. There are only 50 slots on the main list and a large number of good candidates.

@gcreptile has added Deaths of the Silver Screen to his tally of titles back in the Summer.

Count me in for Round 1 at least.

Deaths of The Silver Screen Deadpool II

The second hit on this slow moving pool but it is looking like a good call from the defending champ. Might he be the first to move into a winning position. Masterlist updated -
When we get to 10 picks I will do a Masterlist

You can always edit your list to remove the content and the replace the list in a later post as long as it is in the rules it is a shame to potentially pass up on a future hit for a misunderstanding.

There were a lot of grumbles about William Gates -
I'll have 28 because it has not been taken but at first glance I am saying 15.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist
Bibliogryphon replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in DeathList Forum
This is I think a mainstream list. The three that stand out for me as being a bit too early are QE II. The third Betty on the list (Baroness Boothroyd) and national treasure Bernard Cribbins but maybe he is this year's Nicholas Parsons
