Really I took one look at Greame Garden and was tempted to bet my redundancy money on Bill Oddie being the last surviving Goodie.

Daily Mail reporting that my DDP theme team pick Fay Weldon is divorcing her third husband at the age of 89. The article references not being able to speak well and a prolonged spell in hospital. I suspect the divorce might be to avoid him getting his hands on her dosh when the fateful day comes. Though he might be a better pick as her second husband died of a heart attack one month after their divorce -

I actually think Victoria Wood is very funny and clever and as a writer she is very generous most of her best stuff was written for the rest of her cast Julie Walters, Celia Imrie, Susie Blake & Patricia Routledge. It is not lots of quick gags but it is warm and observational in some ways like a modern Jane Austen. I also adored Linda Smith not quite sure why she didn't break through. She may have been too political. -

The joy of the Two Ronnies was that they were both talented comics on their own and Ronnie Barker was a tough task master in terms of what he would do. The sheer variety of what you would get in an episode is impressive. I always thought Les Dawson was very funny. -

Definitely hits the fame threshold though some of the more international posters may disagree.

When we were buying our house 25 years ago one of the houses we looked actually had a gold disc hanging in the living room and the lady of the house reluctantly admitted that her husband had indeed been a member of Coast to Coast before becoming a stone mason. I later found out that two of the girls in the band had actually worked where I was then working before they 'hit the big time'. I actually had to admit that I had bought Do The Hucklebuck as a 7" single

Pauline Black also did a bit of acting. Ed Bazellgette who was a member of the Vapours directed a number of episodes of Doctor Who a few years back

Mrs Biblio came up with an interesting theory yesterday. Has Prince Harry's stage managed fuck off to the US been brought about because his true genetic heritage has been found to be compromised? This way he is out of the picture without damaging the reputation of his mother... No evidence but one way of interpreting events
