The events at Westminster this week mean that an election is probably going to be held before Christmas curtailing this competition. I will start a game for 2019-2024 because the short time frame and the politically febrile atmosphere means that some interesting characters will be in parliament.

This is right. Terrance is the writer who I have read most books by. This had the same impact for me as Terry Pratchett's death and this year ties with Paul Darrow for personal impact from a celebrity. His talent is simplicity and he books are so light and effortless to read he deserves to be mentioned alongside Isaac Asimov, John Wyndham, Enid Blyton and Jane Austen.

We are now level with 2011 the least successful recent year. Looking at this point in previous years there have been between 2 & 6 hits after this date so predictiions could be anywhere between 9 ( disappointing) and 13 (not bad). Six of the seven hits have come in a 110 day period and there is still over 110 day until the end of the year. A hit before 14th October will take us ahead of 2016.

I will get my team in tomorrow.

When Sheila Steafel gets her QO it will be Bibliogryphon 9 v DL 6

So @Joey Russ had Peter Fonda in Easy Rider and I had Sheila Steafel in The Dalek Invasion of Earth 2150AD. So there are now 7 players with one hit and two players with two hits. Technically until the QO arrives for Sheila then I am in the same position as @Prophet who is still waiting for Ambrose Schindler.

When the QO arrives (which it should) Sheila Steafel will be a hit for me here.
