This game is about probability not desire. You know more about these people than footballers or politicians so it makes sense to pick them. I had picked Terry Pratchett on a Couple of pools but it still felt like a punch to the stomach when I heard he had died.

With the exception of Doctor Who I have pretty much given up on watching broadcast TV but I was visiting my in-laws on Saturday and had the misfotune to witness Len Goodman's Partners in Rhyme clearly this treat is aimed at those people who are put off by the intellectual rigours of Catchphrase. They have given up scraping the bottom of the barrel and are not investigating what is under the barrel. -

Not being a football fan I have often thought that about CR7 when I have observed his antics but where does the suggestions about the others come from, rumour or personal speculation? -

He was on my (very) long list. Have read a few of his collaborations with Larry Niven. I think Pournelle added readability some of Niven's stand alone efforts are really hard going. -

I remember getting an English leagues one free with shoot magazine and updating it with the Sunday paper despite having no interest in football. Guess I just like lists. -

TV Dramatist Rosemary Anne Sisson who wrote episodes of Upstairs, Downstairs died back in July. There gas been a Stage obit but don't recall seeing this previously.
