Never mind that Cat, I want to know why the Leicester ring road is such utter wank. It must have sent me fucking MILES out of my way to get onto the M1 for the Eat Mids airport. They should build a road straight across, preferably across Citys ground too. Where were you coming from. You may have been better using the A14 to get on the M1 and avoid Leicester altogether.

Because it does not meet the criteria. For example someone picked an artist who had not had a number 1 hit single in the UK. One of the key learning areas has been around the constitution of the House of Lords. Oh and someone else picked someone who was already dead.

Duplicate entries are not rejected just they are not unique. The reason I need entries PM'd is so that people are not influenced by other people and given an advantage in putting uniques in their teams.

Nine entries so far. Although someone didn't read the whole question so one of their categories needs a re-write. I am impressed with the levels of research some of you are doing. I have learnt a lot.

Authors Last A Long Time, But....

No that we are sure he is dead I thought Nicholas Fisk's books were great. When I first went to secondary school we were all taken to the library in an English lesson and told to pick a reading book. I selected Wheelie in the Stars. I then went on to read Trillions, Star-Stormers, Grinny and On The Flip Side. I was cross it took the media so long to give him the obit.

Authors Last A Long Time, But....

Did you have inside information? Well, right after all! However, the obit says he was 94 but that doesn't tie in with the DOB/DOD at the bottom. Not so much Judy Carne as Doris Day... I pointed that out to them. Ask and you shall receive......

Sport is a really poor area for me but I did think that I should have a sports category just for balance.

I think Andy Bell and Marc Almond are legitimate discussions. Particularly Bell who is HIV positive and looking rough.

    Maryport's Midsummer Dead Pool

Deathslam Form Guide #15 Lord Peter Carrington The Never Ending Tory who is famous for resigning as Foreign Secretary during the Falklands crisis. He served in Winston Churchill's cabinet but has never been an MP so confuses deadpoolers when he doesn't appear on lists of elderly MPs. Some say he has 100 written all over him but the committee have picked him twice. Will he make it to the solstice?

    The EU Referendum Hokey Cokey

OK looks like I am in a minority here but I think that the UK is better off being part of the EU are leading it towards a place where it actually functions as it is meant to rather than being an overblown beast that is seen as interfering in everyday lives. Cameron is hopeless. His renegotiation was pathetic he asked for nothing and got slightly less. If Remain win it will be in spite of Cameron not because of Cameron. There is also no way he should have let the Leave ministers stay in post. He is storing up trouble for the future. However I am very concerned that Farage has today stated that if the people get it 'wrong' he will want to ask the question again. No accepting the democratic will of the people here. I am voting in because Britain makes a better Europe, we are leaders not quitters.

    Scavenger Hunt Bingo Deadpool

I now have six fully verified teams which have been PM'd to be. The point about PMing me is that you will be able to keep your really good picks to yourself right up until the game goes live. (MK) I must say the standard has been high and I have only had to reject one pick. Waiting for the last minute rush

OK Back in the Saddle now. Tooting only counts as a resignation, so is worth 10 points but as Sadiq Khan is not defecting you don't run the risk of losing five of them. All three players who scored for Tooting also scored for Michael Meacher so there are only three possible combination of scores 40 Points RockHopperPenguin The Engineer Voice of Young Maryport 30 Points Bibliogryphon Shaun of the Dead Rotton Ali Time Rover and Out Still to Score Young Willz DeathRay Sir Creep Handrejka Msc Phantom MPFC Manuel

Authors Last A Long Time, But....

Yeh particularly children's authors here are a few more who have reached a grand old age. Shirley Hughes who wrote the Alfie books born 1927 Nicolas Fisk (aka David Higgenbottom) author of Kids sci-fi books like Grinny, Trillions and Starstormers born 1923 Eric Carle (The Very Hungry Caterpillar) born 1929 No health information about any of these but just by age alone they are worthy of consideration. Report of the death of Nicholas Fisk at 92. https://twitter.com/LCecilLitAgency/status/729985447397609472 Awaiting news reports/qo for BiblioG's DDP team. Is he dead or not? Good question. Those who should be in the know on Twitter say he is, but there's been no word from any news sources as yet. At this point, he's this year's Judy Carne. I'm giving it until Monday night for some form of report to appear, if not, I'll take him off the round up. The age given in the tweet is 94. He is actually 92. But why post this otherwise. If this were true I would expect the Guardian or Telegraph to be all over it.
