I have drafted a team which I will probably send next week.

Documentary on Radio 4 this morning included an interview with 99 year old American oceanographer Walter Munk.
-
Darcus Howe is so going to be on this week.

Are you saying that there are actually jobs in Dumfries & Galloway?

To be honest I would rather have been defeated by a large margin than by a single Lisa Magill point. It is this games equivalent of diving to get a penalty. Good like RadGuy for the next round.

Joey & MK?

dead Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Going for the irony date then? -
So Plan B assuming Mary Wilson doesn't die from over excitement after Article 50 was triggered (apparently she voted no in 1974) is that RadGuy's internet goes down and he fails to get his team in on time, or he could post an inappropriate joke and get himself banned (it happens you know)

This would be supported by the statistics about Labour vs Conservative by-elections caused by deaths in office. Ken Clarke is keeping his powder dry for something methinks. -

Authors Last A Long Time, But....

Me too but I have had some massive literary misses in the past few weeks. Dexter, Walcott, Storey -
Difficult to define absolutely however that is where the Obit requirements come in.

Kelman or Mantell might be worth a shot though. -
I just wanted to distinguish them from the aliens who want to devour our nubile virgins or enslave us to mine out the core of the planet.

Seen Any Good Films Lately?
Bibliogryphon replied to Cowboy Ronnie's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Bringing @Davey Jones' Locker Valerian discussion into this thread. I think the film is on dodgy ground. If fans of the original like DJL are upset then they are not going to go and I do not think there is enough in that trailer to convince me that this is worth spending my money on. Like John Carter I will probably wait and watch it on a plane or on DVD. I actually quite liked John Carter despite its linearity but I had not forked out £30 to take the family to see it which may have reduced my expectations. My daughter is boycotting the Ghost in the Shell movies because it has been Americanised and the same goes for the up coming Death Note movie. and another thing while I am ranting why do we even need a Beauty and the Beast remake. The original animated version is the closest Disney came to perfection and imo it should have beaten Silence of the Lambs to the Best Picture Oscar surely remakes should be those films that came close but no cigar. Not just a cynical marketing ploy. -
I'm looking forward to the next one where I can actually play.

Carrie Fisher was two years old when her parent's divorced who were both very public figures and seventies hollywood is a very different place she had a number of chaotic relationships. I do not think there is any comparison between the two of them.

Endometriosis apparently........

Daisy Ridley has been in a number of TV roles since 2013 (Casualty etc) and she is the Great niece of Arnold Ridley (Dad's Army). However she does suffer from a rare medical condition. She will be in Kenneth Branagh's remake of Murder on the Orient Express. I keep getting her confused with Felicity Jones who was in Rogue One who I suddenly realised had played Catherine Moorland in Northanger Abbey and I couldn't get it out of my head for the second half of the film

I didn't use the word dictatorship.
-
I get the impression Daisy Ridley has her head screwed on right. Carrie Fisher's life was chaotic before Star Wars. Probably Max von Sydow.
-
Maybe this discussion should go in the Films thread of Extra-curricular. Keep on the right side of the Admins

Even if the aliens were benign but authoritative and shared their technology and cleaned up the planet and brought peace and prosperity there would still be a faction who wanted to take back control
-
Would be rude not to reply off topic but John Carter anyone? On topic Caroline Blakiston is older than I thought she was

It is interesting that two of the lowest scoring ties in this round face each other in the next (Me/RadGuy & DDT/Switch) we have three points between the four of us. Makes the semis something to look forward to in May.
