Reality check - he's mined that attention/business angle for years. I'm guessing his cash cow is already pencilled in for taxidermy as and when. The alternative is the man gets a proper job! When Zsa Zsa does finally go is the Prinz going to get picked on people's lists just for old times sake?

People are now protesting about fake news sites and someone commented "No-one checks facts any more" maybe they should come and play the 20/20 deathlist where verification is at an extremely high level. -

Airborne 1527hrs GMT. https://www.flightradar24.com/EZY2159/b9f17d8 I tell you something about Flight Radar: you don't properly appreciate how big Canada is, until you're following a plane crossing slowly over it. Shouldn't that be in things to do while waiting to die? You might be dead already by the time it is done. -
Cleo Laine not dead then, everytime I see this thread bumped... oh well one day....

I normally avoid the JL advert but my daughter showed me it so she could show the parody one. It was the least Christmassy thing ever. -

The Today programme were giving this the works this morning. I think glad to have something to distract them but they interviewed Alistair Darling of all people about Leonard Cohen.

And boom goes another possible unique for my Beatles related personages. Arg!!!!!!!!!! Just because someone gets a mention doesn't mean they get picked. I had been banging on about Gareth Thomas for ages and he was still unique to me.

Just found out that the producer of Yellow Submarine movie and The Beatles cartoon series Al Brodax is still alive aged 90.

Maybe this is where Kay Starr will get her recognition.

Who Do You Think Will Be Elected President Of The United States In 2016?
Bibliogryphon replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
There have been a lot of people on social media suggesting that the US election is wackier than the EU referendum result but as a colleague pointed out yestrday in 2020 the US can kick Trump out but we will still be outside the EU. -
In the latest edition of DWM there is a list of the 100 directors who have directed episodes of Doctor Who. I am sure some sad individual is going to review that list to see how many are still with us.

If remain had won by a similar margin there would have been a recognition that almost half the voters had seriois concerns about issues like immigration which would need to be addressed but so far the attitude of Leavers to remainers is "You lost suckers choke it down" -

Shaun does this count. It is on the BBC and says she is dead or are they holding back to use her on Friday's Last Word.

Phil Collins (And Other Genesis Types)
Bibliogryphon replied to DevonDeathTrip's topic in DeathList Forum
Phil Collins has always had a problem with the hardcore Genesis fan base. He frequently acknowledged that he had no idea about what some of Tony Banks' more poetic songs were about and he characterised Genesis as a blokes group. When he made his solo stuff it was much more mainstream and when he came out from behind the drums during jamming sessions with the group the solo and the group became more aligned. This also happened to be when Peter Gabriel suddenly surprised everyone by making a commercially successful album. I saw Genesis at Wembely on The Invisible Tour and the old songs went down the best with the crowd. I am not sure how I would feel about a PG/PC Genesis reunion. However The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is Genesis falling apart it might as well be a solo Peter Gabriel album. There are some great tracks on it but it is not an easy listen. Phil Collins does what Phil Collins does and does it well. He deserved his Oscar for You'll Be In My Heart. That is where he is most comfortable but I still maintain that A Trick of The Tail is a fantastic album by any standard. -

I'm not sure she's getting a BBC obit, let alone a qualifying one. A few years ago there was a lot of critiicism of the BBC using its position to crowd others out of the online news market so they agreed to scale baack the website and this is the result. Can the BBC be relied on for something so vital. Having said that she has not had a single UK obit so far.
-
So if the BBC don't cough up for Kay Starr before another hit does that mean Book loses out on their point?
