Because we are discussing US politics or because of US politics?
-
The reason the LOTSW had such a large cast is that they had to keep replacing the cast members that died.
-
A boast indeed. Just like Steve Davis?
-
But we have already lost Trigger and Mike the Barman (who could also have appeared in the IAAHM lists).

With the passing of Clive Dunn and Nicholas Smith we really need to focus on another classic British Sit-com Candidates might include It Ain't Half Hot Mum Hi-De-Hi Allo, Allo Only Fools and Horses Keeping Up Appearances Open All Hours Although the grim reaper has made a head start with some of these series there is plenty of scope. David Jason or Windsor Davies for the main list I say.

I got a 96% match with Bernie Sanders and 81% match with Hillary then there was a gap to 68% and someone I have never heard of. Trump came in at 6%. Above Santorum, Fiorino and Rubio. However I am sure the Americans don't care what we British think of their leaders.

In the run up to Christmas I see many towns are holding special retail events commemerating the deaths of Sir Terry Pratchett and Sir Christopher Lee Late Knight Shopping

Teams are in. Just sit back to see if I need any of my subs. Thanks TMIB and good luck to everyone playing.

You clearly never knew my Nan who used to think that when her dog tried to bite us it was because we were annoying it by being children.

A true Jimmy Riddle.... ...in as much it would be a pisser to get it wrong either way.

My daughter has the boxed set and this is her guilty pleasure. It is surprising how good it is and how well the ensemble work together. Does go downhill in the last couple of series.

I was only asking because someone has played him as a wildcard in my work game and I had to look him up to find out who he was. Didn't know whether this was inspired or wildly optimistic

Yeah right......

One specific group of angry Halibuts... You've got more qualifiers than the 1990 Monaco Grand Prix for fuck's sake. Shut up. Oh btw, just for guests/newbies, a little translation Dr. Z is 12 is deathlistese for "Shit, looks like he won again. How many is that now?" Z, As Caskets stated, it's one angry group of Halibuts. I suggest you get your arse out from behind your pc and experience life. If like me, you attended a multi-cultural school where the people I sat alongside with were Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Catholics, Halibuts, Athiests and countless others, you'd realise that you can't judge an entire nation or religion by the actions of a minority. If that were the case, and your arseaboutface attitude was the standard by which I would view all Americans, then I wouldn't have moved here. I think Dr Z lives in Milton Keynes........

Does anyone have any information on Roy Jones Jr (b.1969) as to why he might be a good pick for next year?
-
Seems like sound advice Whatever the weather.

or not Pulls out for health reasons but does hope to appear in the 2017 Deathlist

Found a snippet in last months DWM which might be of interest David Fisher (b.1929) writer of a number of Tom Baker stories is living in a nursing home and is 'not in the best of health' but is obviously still lucid as this was taken from a review of a Myth Makers DVD with him as the subject. With the passing of Anthony Read this looks like a really good theme team pick. However considering Jane Baker did not get required obit might be chancy.

Would that be your specialist subject on Mastermind? No, they're all right but not my favourites. If I'm going to have something chocolatey it would probably be a Double Decker. What would be my specialist subject? I honestly don't know. I have a few interests and know a little bit about each, rather than a lot about one. Full justification of the licence fee. John Humphries asking Lard Bazar questions about Double Deckers and then probing her General Knowledge...... Lardys fanny may have been called many things but, im certain, General Knowledge isn't one of them Well I hope it wouldn't be common knowledge....

Death Anniversary Thread
Bibliogryphon replied to themaninblack's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
This brings back memories of playing around the ruins when taken to Abbey Park as a child. My first part-time job was at the RHM bakery which is just over the road from the enterence to Abbey Park closest to Pets Corner. It's not there any more, they pulled it down and built a B&Q; then that burned down and they rebuilt it. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.6501363,-1.1395104,3a,90y,220.93h,85.98t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sGWmxGu5DUkn3suzFePXN5Q!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 I worked at the bakery too, from about 1987 to 1990. Wasn't that fire a little bit suspicious. The old entry way was listed I think. -

Preppers. Those people who stock up on tinned beans and a massive arsenal of weapons in the belief that the end of civilisation as we know it is coming. If that is the case the last thing we are going to need is an army of flatulent, bigoted, conspiracy theorists running around.
