Nick Robinson presented the Today programme yesterday. He sounds really rough. Obviously he has had treatment for throat cancer and this will have left its mark but then to put himself in a high profile (and stessful) position. I do wonder.....

Ann Emery who played Mrs Meeker in Rentaghost is still alive (b.1930) which I was surprised about I also didn't realise that she was Dick Emery's sister.

press the search bar at the top of the screen then you press copy when it appears then you whike you are typing you press the area you are typing until past appears and then you click paste and the link should appear. Nowt (yet) on the news sources where you'd expect it to appear, give it an hour. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/warren-mitchell-dead-alf-garnett-6831178 Oh, he was about to turn 90 in January. I bet he was a prime candidate for the next Death List. I had him on my Draft Shadowlist for next year. One particular thing about him made me like him (I was never a big Alf Garnett fan). When Anthony Hopkins said that the thing he liked about being successful was that he didn't have to play King Lear every night. Warren Mitchell said for me the thing about being successful was that he could play King Lear every night. When Warren did play King Lear it was at the Hackney Empire and the production had Michael Cashman in the company. I am hoping in true East End tradition that he was playing the Earl of Kent.

This was the first I had heard of it.

For some reason over the weekend I was worrying that Julie Walters might die. Maybe it was misplaced prescience

I think there are enough Eurovision nerds out there to ensure twitter and Wiki are up to date with people like this. I hope my research is not being called into question.

Judith Kerr brings back Mog from the grave for a Sainsbury's ad to raise money for Children. Is she jusr reminding us in time for next year or is she trying to rule herself out of the running by being active and lovely? Old ladies - never trust em.....

Now this is interesting None of the Above has the same number of votes as Martin Crowe. Only ZZG looks like a more popular pick.

Crap, crap, crap, crap. That sums up my sentiments nicely. I think you might need a few more craps than me though.

Will appear in Emmerdale Christmas episode so I imagine she will last until then otherwise it looks a little awkward.

I am going to poop the party and say None of the above. Although it is a win-win situation if I am wrong it is a record breaking year and if I'm right myself and three others can feel a tinny bit smug on New Years Day. I am glad RHP carefully read the drafy of his posy.

I forgot Sapphire & Steel when I was discussing David Collings on another thread. Thanks for reminding me.

At last. I am glad someone else thinks so.

It was my understanding that the twelve days of Christmas are those that follow Christmas Day ending in Twelfth Night on January 6th. Hey nonny nonny That is correct. The days before Christmas Day are called Advent. Now there's an idea. A Deathlist Advent Calendar! Run out of likes for the day but that is an awesome idea. There should be at least one Archbishop in there.

It is very good. I especially like the audience reaction when they realise Hardy plays both the new editor and the Rupert Murdoch type. He and Palmer (another potential Deathlist favourite) play off each other wonderfully. Series 2 is sillier but Richard Wilson is on fine withering form.

And isn't that the greatest thing? I learnt quite a bit going through the names and quite a few of them are eminently and highly obitable! And look at some of those birth dates! Bill Butler for example will certainly obit here for his opus. I suppose in some ways the big names have already gone Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, Patrick Troughton, Leo McKern & Billie Whitelaw.

Might be tempted to get in first again. Maybe tomorrow.

Hasn't appreared recently in anything but one of my favorite roles is the early Channel 4 sitcom Hot Metal where he played the Newspaper proprietor and the sleazy Deputy Editor opposite Geoffrey Palmer (series 1) and Richard Wilson (series 2). Very funny.

Ooo, the thought of Harry Styles all stiff - I would let him rip my spine apart. Cool, that leaves Niall Horan all for me - huzzah! Which is the point I was trying to make. Hasn't attracted any haters/ranters though.

Won't quote but I only know about 7 of those names.

If she has already gone to Germany I think sooner. 18th November
