Lenny Henry is set to receive a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours List to be published on Friday. I for one am very pleased.

What about companies rising from the grave? There is speculation that as part of the restructuring of HSBC they will rebrand their UK & European banking operations and the old Midland Bank name has been discussed. But who would provide the voice for Griffon after the sad death of Richard Briers?

The last Father of the House to die whilst holding the title was David Lloyd George in 1945. Just saying.

The name Jessica always conjures up one thing to me. I'm now imagining this Shakespearean epic being done in the style of Some Mothers Do 'Ave Them. With comments like that you may have to consider your position as Culture secretary.

Damn you I started reading that sentence and thought I had got my first hit for my Unusual Suspects DDP team. Please come back when you have better news.

On Sunday I went to the Globe Theatre and saw Jonathan Pryce play Shylock in The Merchant of Venice. This is a really difficult play to do well and it was superb. Jonathan Pryce was awesome everyline he spoke just pulled the heart out of you. His actual daughter played Jessica as well.

Entries are still being accepted for the By-election Bingo game if you are in for the long haul. I need the names of 30 MPs elected to the UK parliamnet on 07th May 2015 whose ambition, death or disgrace might trigger a by-election between the end of June 2015 and Election day 2020. Most other games start in January though you can put a list of suggestions in your signature (beware if there are good ideas in there other people WILL steal them) -
She looks very thin though and has done for about 3 years so I doubt she will live that long but you never know! Big, fat women always die young, that's why the world is full of 'little old ladies' I was always fascinated by that concept. Apologies to any Italians but the three female stereotypes of Italians seem entirely contradictory Beautiful young women with a high sense of fashion, Huge matriarchs and tiny little old ladies.

I saw him play Anthony in Anthony & Cleopatra in 1991 at the RSC I am hoping that his original attempt 20 years earlier was a lot better. His Anthony was too old and a bit bluff and his death scene was unitentionally comic. Funny that, I saw him in that play too and it was in 1992, with Claire Higgins as Cleopatra...and I agree exactly in what you said about the death scene! Never swim in the same river twice. That must also have been the one with John Nettles as Octavius Caeser.

I was shocked to discover that Nicelle had been omitted from all my list including my 1000 watching list. Epic Fail Is Nicelle what you get when a teleporter accident fuses Nichelle with the Enterprise's nacelles? (Sorry, couldn't resist.) I have now managed to rectify this as Richard Johnson vacated his slot on the 1000 list which Nichelle has now filled.

This joke would have worked much better if you were able to spell. Here's a word that's quite easy to spell - TWAT. It woulda worked better if the average age of those reading the joke was 16. SC PS in the words of Monty Python, "I preferred the dirty version." Unfortunately most 16 year olds would probably look blankly at you the same as if you tried the old chestnut from the eighties: What is the difference between Domestos and Princess Grace of Monaco?

Good spot he is going to be up there for consideration next year. Pity because I really like him as an actor but for Deathlisting great work.

He wants to be deputy leader. He has a little bit of baggage which is I think why he hasn't gone for leader but there is still the future. -
I remeber suggesting that Nancy's death might be a benefit in the run-up to the 2012 presidential election but she keeps hanging in there.

Yeah, looking like a busker He really is one of the last lefties, but it's utterly unforgivable to wear a shirt with button down collars and not have them secured. That's play loose and cheap in my book. But for a short while we can still try to believe that there are some socialist principles surviving in the Labour party rather than the synthetic centrist candidates who seem to be falling over each as they clamber to the right. He may get nominated by people who wouldn't actually vote for him in order to make the field look more interesting. David Miliband signed Diane Abbott's nomination papers in 2010. -
I am doing really badly this year 3 hits across all my 3 teams is not very impressive. Surely we are waiting for a big one.

I am going to make some comments which many may consider to be controversial regarding the recent Leicester City Thailand players video. I am not in any way condoning their behaviour but there has been assumption in the press about what the reaction of their Thai hosts might have been. If we looked at it the otherway round in a scenario where a British business arranges "hospitality" for important foreign business contacts and later video footage emerges of him refering to a British prostitute as for example A minging pasty faced whore or some such, do we then take this an insult of his complete disdain for all things British or just shows him up to be an impolite misogynist which if his host is organising such events probably would fit for him as well. Young footballers and sex is a terrible mix and they all need educating early on about the potential impact of their actions.

To avoid excessive quoting I am not going to quote previous conversation but I am carrying on B7 topic. Sarcophagus is part of an excellent trilogy of episodes which include Children of Auron & Rumours of Death. Avon keeps his true feeling ambiguous but there is plenty there to play with. Recently on ebay the original Liberator model was up for sale at £30,000. I was surprised at how big it was (small car size). I think the Heritage lottery fund should have purchased this for the Nation (it should be in a museum).

If any sitting (or former) MPs have dropped by (Repeat do not Google your own name) then I won't hold it against you and you would be allowed to play.
