    Curse Of The Eurovision

My money's on as follows: Italy to win. Sweden and Russia will fill other two top three spots. Estonia and Cyprus to finish top 10, as will Belgium. UK will finish 20th. As I was out of the country I watched the song previews on youtube. I liked Macedonia's entry (Autumn Leaves). It didn't make it past the semi-final stage.

    Hooroo, Mate.

Seriously? The Horns of Nimon is one of your faves. I presume that this is an ironic approach for high camp fun rather than a genuine appreciation of the depth and character driven qualities of classics such as The Brain of Morbius, City of Death or The Robots of Death. However, it is worth watching for Graham Crowden's death scene alone.

    British Science Fiction Series

Don't even think about it... My thoughts were that being such an eccentric chap (he enjoyed living next door to a cemetery) that he might actually enjoy the accolade and become our new ambassedor.

    The Dead Of 2015

Citation needed. Furthermore, as a Yank I'm totally unaware of this show, so to IMDb I went, and when Terry Sue Patt didn't show up immediately, I pulled up the full cast and scrolled........and scrolled.....and scrolled. Terry Patt appeared in 29 episodes; and yes I counted, a full 170 other cast members appeared in more. So guessing Terry's role rather minor. Still, the show seems popular, so may I suggest with that many folks involves the show obtains a thread of it's own? Once a link appears that is. SC That's more episodes than Grace Lee Whitney appeared in Star Trek

It seems I might be reaping the benefits of not watching as I have no idea to whom you refer.

    By-Election Bingo

Eight teams are lined up at the starting tape now. Back at wrork today so I wasn't able to watch the Queen's speech to see who looked ill, rebellious, guilty or ambitious. I am expecting a flurry of teams to come in now. Of course it may be the case some MPs won't last until my arbitary starting date.

I did not read her novels but her two episodes of Blake's 7 (Sarcophagus & Sand) were among the best. Guardian Coverage

Does this really mean that 3 of the picks share the same birthday. Wow

    By-Election Bingo

So there are now six teams on the board and I am pleasently surprised by the range of entries. One think that it has made me think is that some of our constituencies have very silly names.

I accept your entry but I will need at least one other name as Sally Bercow may be many things but not a sitting MP. Yvette Cooper's in twice, too. Oh bugger. Can I bring Tim Farron in as a substitute. Tim accepted as substitute. As far as I know AC/DC front man has not had a career change. I have given you Angus Robertson but the is also Angus MacNeill.

"But she may be found sitting on a current MP!"? More likely one of his close relations. Just in time with Liz. I am off to China see you in a week or so.

This woman is the biggest deathlist tease Zsa zsa Gabor anyone This seems more like a battle of will power than an active tease at least she or her creepy husband don't post lots of video stating that Zsa Zsa has suddenly taken up pole dancing. The games afoot and everyone knows how it will end it is just a matter of when.

    End Times - The Rapture

I am currently in the Business Lounge at Heathrow and they have run out of cake and chocolate bars - surely there is no greater sign than this that the end times have begun.

Leicester City avoid relegation with one match still to play and they were bottom at the beginning of April. "We're only making plans for Nigel, his future's in the Premier League" with apologies to Andy Partridge

    By-Election Bingo

Odd that nobody has picked me up on this. This should be 1987-2005. The first by-election of the 2010 parliament was because Phil Woolas was a naughty boy and told porkie pies in his election literature.

    Valerie Harper

This woman is the biggest deathlist tease. In 2014 she was at deaths door and was a shoe in for the 2015 list then she was feeling much better so she got left off a load of people's DDP teams and now she is saying her time has come. If it is true then good call to the committee for keeping the faith and those of us who replaced her with MTM will hang our heads in shame. I have both Rhoda and Mary so I'm not worried a bit I just hope Sue Ann, Lou and Phyllis don't die because I'm saving them for 2016 or later... The biggest problem for me is she would wallop me for 18 points on the inverse deadpool and that looks like the only one I am in with a shout at winning.

    Eddie Large

I thought they hadn't spoken to each other in years. Or maybe perhaps Eddie will be there to eat the leftovers. no way Eddie would never do that, that would actually be funny Dear Awesome Guest, you may think it is funny that we go on about these unfunny comedians from the 1970s but if your comments on your age are true then you can have no concept of the true horror of Saturday night light entertainment. Three channels was our total choice and one of them was ITV. No videos, no computer games, no internet, no deathlist. Remember Little and Large were no means the worst offerings that were laid before us. See I am scarred for life.

    By-Election Bingo

Just to let you all know that from tomorrow evening I will be away for a week. My work are sending me to China for a week and I normally find it difficult to get access to this site when I am in China. However I hope the rules are clear and if there are any questions I will try to answer them when I get back. Just a couple of thoughts to leave you with. The first by-election of every parliament since 1987 has been brought about by the death of a sitting MP. Secondly - Mayor of London elections take place in 2016. As far as I am aware none of the major parties have selected their candidates yet.
