September 2014 driest on record in the UK with only 20% of the average rainfall.

George Clooney got married I don't care. But look at the photo of Bill Murray halfway down he looks like a tortoise. If they ever make Ghostbusters 3 he will probably be playing a ghost.
-
I presume he will not draw attention to the fact that the band pretended to break up after their first album just to get away from him.

Yes, didn't Wilko say that he wasn't going to have any treatment, or something along those lines? Then he goes on an apparently never-ending tour, puts out an album, and ...... I mean, good luck to the bloke and all that, but you can't blame people if they feel a bit misled. Erm.... no. Actually I think what happened is he said he wouldn't have any (more?) chemo, which quite a lot of people do because chemo is awful, but then they did some sort of "experimental" surgery to remove the tumour this summer. So it's not quite really "misleading" the world into thinking he was dying, just he thought he was gonna die cause he didn't want to suffer through chemo then some other option came up. To be honest I do not doubt Lynda Bellingham's sincerity in this, I just wanted the opportunity to make the lame Doctor Who gag.

Jean Alexander is back home after her stroke in June I was thinking she was a shoe in for the 2015 list but she may hang around for a while yet. Also Anne Kirkbride has been given three months leave from Coronation Street. -
It seems to me celebrities are making sure we know about their illnesses now when we are thinking about the 2015 List. How humiliating would it be to be dying and nobody writing comments about it.

I do not want to be cynical but there is a book to sell and if we stray into Wilko Johnson territory then we should summon The Inquisitor Trial of a Time Waster?
-
Sorry but for the 500th time we can't view the Enquirer website over here in Yoorup. We just get a blank white page with the message "service not available in your area". Could you guys please copy+paste some of the article or something next time.....? Even if you are saying it's crap..... How come it is on sale in British Supermarkets but we cannot access the website? This seems to me a case of libel law lagging behind technology.

Was that filmed in widescreen?

So DLT gets a non-custodial sentence.

Jonathon King will once again grace our TV screens in a Documentry on Genesis to be screened on 04th October. Interesting to note he actually complained to the BBC about being edited out of TOTP and was assured it would not happen again. The photo half way down is quite interesting but probably none for 2015.

Apparently she is now gloating that she outlived Joan Rivers

I was in a Supermarket last night and a copy of The National Enquirer caught my eye with the headline who will die next? Now I know everything in this publication needs to be taken with a pinch of salt but they had found some fantastic photos. I have tried doing a Google search but I get the message coming up saying that content is not available in my area so I cannot link to the article. However they did go with someold favorites such as B B King, Mary Tyler Moore, Leonard Nimoy and Barbara Walters but some more controversial entries into the list were Liza Minelli, Jane Fonda, Cher, Chevvy Chase and Paul McCartney(?). There were also some people I had never heard of who I presume go under the title Celebrity.

I had a conversation with a colleague who recalled hearing an American conspiracy theorist who believed Denis was the head of the Iluminatii and would not even speak his name. Had a brief google but only came up with Bilderberg group theories. Does anyone know anything else about this?

If x=y then x-y=0 and then dividing by 0 cannot be done. -
If only one of the committee people had said that. By the way Ed Asner is old as fuck, and fat. dunno if you noticed.... (p.s. you also forgot to include Wilko, and Denis Norden is probably stickin around too) I stand by my statement I do not think Ed Asner will die in 2014. If I am wrong you may point and jeer. However if it gets to New Years Eve and he is still with it you may raise your glass to the stars and say "Bibliogryphon was right about Ed Asner though"

Fairly high profile coverage, getting mentioned on the brief news bulletins on BBC radio and the like. Encouraging for those minded to pick aged aristocratic types in future deadpools. Fourth hit for my Unusual Suspects team.

Looking at the list there are only seven names that I would stick my neck out and say WILL survive the year. That gives us 36 potential green bottles. Dick van Dyck Tony Bennett Valerie Harper Ed Asner Terry Pratchett Shaw Taylor Charles Aznavour I thought about adding Stan Lee then decided against it.

in-bread? Is that because they have all the dough? -
In an interview in todays Independent Judith asks to be excused from the 2015 Deathlist on the grounds of being fit and well and still writing books. So I am contemplating dropping her from my theme team for next year.

I got 12, but with exactly the same comment. I said 'no' to the Made In Chelsea question, but besides having no idea what it is, I really don't know if I know anyone who knows someone in it. It's entirely possible. Who knows everybody that everybody they know knows? And punting isn't posh. Everybody who lives anywhere near Oxford or Cambridge must have had a go at that, surely. Anyone who can afford to live near Oxford or Cambridge automatically should proabably get a couple of posh points. -
Yeah, but she's incredibly sharp mentally in that interview. More mental focus than - say - Gazza, Ozzy Osbourne and Lindsay Lohan combined. But at that age she is worth a punt on anybody's DDP team Aye, well, it's reasoning like that that's seen hair torn out year on year by pickers of the likes of Zsa Zsa Gabor. They fall eventually but Chapman Pincher, Run Run Shaw and a few other arty/literary types might be giving us a hint about Ms Athill's longevity. She used to be a smoker, though. Chapman Pincher gave an similar interview last year. He was lucid and set on working but aware of his potential frailty. An outside bet.

I never understood why she was famous. -
Touting round the BBC here he is on Front Row from last week He has said that he wants to still be performing when he is 100. Maybe he will challenge Tony Bennett for the worst Deathlist pick 2014.
