Can't believe no-one picked him for the DDP. Can't believe I didn't pick him for the DDP. Proabalby I thought he was already dead..... ho hum.

    Jimmy Savile

I was a bit worried for Gary Brooker et al when my radio told me 200 Nigerian school girls had been kidnapped by Procol Harum.

    Lauren Bacall

Damn I was just going to quote that after listening to Vogue last night. Glad I checked otherwise some people (mentioning no names) would have got quite grumpy!

    Efrem Zimbalist Jr.

This is someone who I was only aware of from his guest appearances on Babylon 5 until I joined the Deathlist.

    Summer Olympic Deaths/Dead Medallists

Roger Bannister reveals he has Parkinson's disease But doesn't mention how proud he would be to be included in the 2015 Deathlist.... ...Odd that

    Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof

Well how wrong I was. How very stupid of her, and I feel even more sorry for her kids now. ...whilst secretly pencilling them in for the 2035 list

    Political Frailty

every MEP elected in 1979 is dead except one? is there some kind of curse on them or something? No, he means there's one that's still in Brussels who was first elected in 1979...I think! TMIB is right but I was (in a way) wrong because BND spent 5 years not being an MEP before defecting from the Conservatives to the Liberal Democrates but he is the only 1979 MEP who is still serving as an MEP. I will leave it to someone else to determine how many of them are still alive. Unless I get really bored.

    Derby Dead Pool 2014

It says he was the only person to both write and act in Doctor Who. I know that is not true if you include post 2005 Doctor Who but I am sure that there were other cases of writers who performed pre 1989.

    Political Frailty

With the elections to the European Parliament on the horizon then the fact that only 1 MEP of the original set from 1979 has made it all the way to 2014 as an MEP Bill Newton-Dunn (b. 1941) is worth noting.

    Harper Lee

You'll be able to hate it too, right? I mean, all they care about is selling copies, what you think afterwards is irrelevant. Certainly. Even when you remain utterly indifferent, the sellers still accept your hard-earned cash with delight. regards, Hein I suppose I should read it before she dies. However I will find a paper copy.

    Harper Lee

Did you just find out now.......? No, I knew she was white, but it was when finding that out a few years ago that I assumed she wasn't until then... Another good example of how educational the Deathlist is. More people should do it.

    Ed Asner

If anyone is in Fayetteville, North Carolina next month they can attend a Q&A session with Ed and Loretta Swit. However I would suggest that questions along the line of "Will you die this year Ed?" will not be well received.

    Chris Woodhead

He was on Radio Four last week talking about his (currently good) quality of life, and - basically - agreeing with you. and was yesterday involved in heavy damage limitation exercise for the private school where he is chair of governors.

    Eli Wallach

Eli is still married (66 years) to his actress wife Anne Jackson who is still working at the age of 87. Move along folks there is nothing to see here. Having said that he should still be on the list for the year he turns 100.
