At David Frost memorial service last week most people looked well. The only person who I thought might be worth keeping an eye on was Andrew Neil. He looked well rough.

Yep that was the guy. I must have remembered early speculation. I stand corrected Better than laying down with a bag on my head corrected which is something else entirely.

So, er..... what is that? Just normal recipes by holocaust survivors? Or is it a collection of ingeniously resourceful recipes that will come in really useful if you are ever put into concentration camp(s)? Like how to make a lovely chilli con carne out of just dead rats? Your guess is as good as mine...although I don't imagine there'd be many ways one could cook watered-down turnip soup and ersatz bread. Clearly I have got the wrong end of the stick. I thought that was the main ingredient. Buy now while stocks last.

Today seems to be the day when members of the Deathlist taunt us with their health and new projects. After Vera Lynn celebrates her birthday with news of a new album Tony Bennett turns up says all modern music is rubbish and his voice has never been better. What next Wilko Johnson signs up for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing?

Worked on the early Doctor Who strips when it transferred to being Doctor Who Monthly when Tom Baker was the Doctor.

There was the TV presenter guy who used his remote control sky light.

Ken Dodd just awarded comedy legend award from Leicester comedy festival. He is still touring.

I am not a massive fan of Mick Jagger, but I do think it is poor form of a number of UK tabloids to print the picture of him at the moment he is told of his long term partners unexpected death.

I think the large peak in the 35-50 age group is for those who have grown sufficiently cynical to have come to terms with the concept of Death but not yet had to buy a bumper pack of In Sympathy cards for all their friends. However I think this site attracts a special kind of person of all ages.

There bound to have at least one more at some point in the next ten years, just to sure up their branch as the family firms guaranteed line. I think this type of comment is just to stop the papers over analysing every photo of Kate to determine whether she might possibly be pregnant. The other tactic is to pretend Harry is thinking of getting married.

The sad thing is that one part of my brain can still hum an approximation of the refrain to One Step Further the UK entry in that year by Bardo. The winner A Little Peace by Nicole became the 500th UK No. 1 single.

Will Transhumanism Kill The Deathlist?

However this might be a solution to interstellar travel. Assuming the Timelords don't send Brian Blessed to wipe us out to prevent the spread of this technology. -
Seriously no-one had Clarissa Dickson-Wright?

I've decided to set up a dick dastardly trap just as someone is about to cross over 2014 points. and we all know how that turns out....

I like this poll. Nice broad ranges. I hate it when you get presented with a form and you are on the bottom range of a group which includes people you think are very old indeed. Here I'm classed with the 35 year olds. A better questions would be how old do you think you are? 100% score for under 30.

An absolute star. Very sad. And a shocking omission from the main list.

His official museum and store website doesn't seem to have been updated since 2010.

I was wondering would an audio obit count? There are a lot of people who are covered on The Last Word on Radio 4 who don't even make an obit on the BBC website. As you can get all previous editions on the website would you accept this in the place of a written obit?

"Bibliogryphon, please will you post another irrelevant list that no-one is interested in?" Go on then you twisted my arm. The Royal Society of Chemistry was formed in 1980 from the merger of two previous societies. The post of President is held for two years and therefore there are quite a few people who might make good picks and all should get at least a broadsheet obituary but if not I am a member of the society and they will get one in Chemistry World. Harry Kroto is probably the only one who would be mentioned on the news though. There are 11 surviving past presidents and the current president (who is the first woman to hold the post) Sir John Cadogan (1930- Sir Jack Lewis (1928- Sir Rex Richards (1922- Edward Abel (1931- Anthony Ledwith (1933- Steven Ley (1945- Sir Harry Kroto (1939- Simon Campbell (1941- James Feast (1938- David Garner (1941- David Phillips (1939- Lesley Yellowtrees (1953- -
We once had a guy who used that term to describe a customer in an e-mail. Unfortunately they replied to the attachment e-mail not to the covering e-mail and it went out to the customer in question. He then turned up late to his own disciplinary hearing. I bumped into him a couple of years later when he had got a reasonably well paid job play testing computer games. His name has now become a by-word for any e-mail related faux-pas in our organisation.

I thought that as soon as I had written it but I decided not to go back and edit it because my gut instinct was that it was probably a bloke. Though it is nice to think that if Maggie's ghost did pick a team it would have Geoffrey on it.
-
Whereas out Deathlist committee have decided to honour (note spelling) with the No Hope medallion by including him on the list.
-
I love the fact he has included Geoffrey Howe in his team.

I haven't had one hit from sixty picks. Surely something soon......
