I am not going to take any huge credit for this he was essentially a name from the lower leagues to fill the list. However, happy to be on the Scoreboard

Saw a trailer yesterday for the Sky Arts Documentary which features a new in depth interview with David Hockney. He sounds absolutely awful. I think he should be considered for the 2024 list

It probably has the power of nostalgia for me. When I first got a Walkman I didn't have many cassettes so my girlfriend (now wife) taped two of her favourite Paul McCartney albums. Tug of War on one side and Give My Regards to Broad Street on the other. Later Paul McCartney's Greatest Hits was one of the first CDs we owned -

I feel this is really harsh. This is by no means a poor song and there seems to be some anti-Paul sentiment in this voting demographic. I will acknowledge that Give My Regards to Broad Street was a huge piece of self indulgence but if any one had earned the right to be self indulgent it was Paul. My wife is currently selling her vinyl single of this which actually has the titled misspelled on the disc. -

I did acknowledge that it was a triumph of style over content and the vindictive campaign against my preferred finalist have left me in the position where it needs to be saved over Duran Duran and the lesser of The Human League tracks in this round -

Here was me thinking they were going to hire Michael Bay to film a car chase through the streets of Paris complete with petrol tankers, helicopters and say a nuclear missile just for good measure..... (I posted this here because I am too chicken to put it on Twitter) -

I have joined the European Movement Time to put my money where my mouth is -
I have now banned the extremely old from my 'work' game. All wildcards must be under the age of 100 when they are first picked so unless a supercentarian was famous originally they aren't part of the game. It was too easy to get points by picking the oldest man and/or the oldest women so I had to include them as main picks to prevent them being wildcard picks and worth a disproportionate number of points
