Star Wars was when it was released original. No-one had seen anything like it before. The Empire Strikes Back is a superb film (note the script was not written by George Lucas) even though nothing happens. The rest of them are just disappointing and should be better.

Just to update you Jemima is expected to be a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing later this year Humpty dealt with his body image issues and has just released a work out DVD and diet plan Big Ted invested in a production company and is expected to be elevated to the House of Lords However Little Ted was asked to leave the BBC after a sexual harassment claim was made by Chloe Ashcroft and has sunk into a serious cycle of drug and alcohol addiction and Hamble has retired from public life after the scandal of her appearance in Doll Orgy IV. She now lives on the South Coast and runs a cat sanctuary. Dapple became a can of Whiskers. -
That article is definitely *not* to be trusted. For starters, the weekend concerts were in Melbourne, not Brisbane. The "tequila" (according to Molly Meldrum, who was at the first Melbourne show) was actually water. Equally, if on meds and alcohol, there is no way she could have done a highly choreographed show for 2 1/2 hours. I know that site is shit and we know someone as narcissistic as Madonna won't kill herself, I just can't stand that public desperation, why do we have to know when Kim K. farts or when Madonna took a painkiller....if people want to kill themselves, they do it...they don't announce it in every newspaper..never mind carry on At least we have dependable 70s prog rockers who can show these upstarts how to kill themselves with dignity and without the use of social media.

Read Any Good Books Lately?
Bibliogryphon replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Currently reading Moon Over Soho by Ben Aaronovitch, the second book in his Rivers of London series. It involves the deaths of Jazz musicians - so all good then. -
You hope that is going to be true for your team.
-
That means that all three of my teams are off the mark. Shame it couldn't have been one of my uniques.

Aye, but Cher's in worse shape if you believe those NE types. They have papers to sell, right. They've never printed a headline that says Major Celeb Happy and Healthy! If you saw that headline you would be reading Hello magazine.

Saturday evening (12-3-16), after Leicester humiliate them. Aren't they playing on Monday night?

The description I read did say he had died suddenly. So lack of obvious warning signs is acceptable that is why I always throw in a few why not picks like Ed Stewart. Sometimes they pay off.

Me Telling Phantom To Kill Himself
Bibliogryphon replied to Dr. Zorders's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
So, in effect, you want our concern and compassion extended to a vile individual who accused one member of raping his own children and thought it was amusing to bait me over the death of my dad? What fucking planet do you live on?Look, we dont do group hugs here, thats left to mumsnet to do. SC is a tosser, he is fixated with post counts and ripping into long gone members ( who would shit all over him for post quality ) over how many 'likes' they never got ffs!!! Why should we like him?? MK is ok but im suspecting its a second account, the jury is out as far as in concerned. To summarise people come and go but massive cunts like Z should stay gone OK point taken about Dr Z. I realised he had crossed the line but not to quite what extent. When it got very ranty I zoned out and went elsewhere. I will leave topic well alone and go back to compiling irrelevant lists. -
Me Telling Phantom To Kill Himself

Is anyone else feeling a little guilty about hounding Dr Z off the forum? Unless he has been banned, which is a matter for the mods, I am slightly worried about him. He was annoying and hopelessly right wing and a little obsessed but he did know what he was talking about from a DL point of view and in earlier times participated in a bit of banter. It is not like Shroud who basically showed up armed to the teeth for a massive fight. However I am now within 8 posts of Dr Z. I hope other members who are frequent targets of derogatory posts (particularly MK and Sir C) don't decide we are no longer worth their time. Group Hug. -
Arsene Wenger is concerned Obviously he was hoping for more hits for his DDP team.
-
FFS! I've wasted my DDP joker! Do not think of it as wasted. We still have 9 months left of the year. Man City might still win the Premier League.
-
Wiki list Yiseael Kristal as the world's oldest man but do state that he has not been verified because of his lack of documentation from early in his life. He has not been picked in the DDP.

OK I have just realised I have cocked up big time. I got confused between Emma and Violet thinking that Violet was born in 1899 and I have put her in my team. I am now hoping she lasts till the transfer day and I can switch her out. What a nube....
-
That will be a record he will have died twice.
-
Why are you so sure it's gonna be Emma, not Suze? Suze is 4 months older (which is like 4 years at that age), and she seems to be in poorer health. Emma's a Dago. Nuf Ced. All that pasta eatin and chianti drinkin finally catching up to her. (They're both in my shadow list) SC Perhaps being Italian helps. The Mediterranean climate is apparently the best for your health. They also tend to have a healthier diet. Suze on the other hand... comes from the South... the land of fried chicken, buttery biscuits, and other delicious but unhealthy foods. Plus she's now spent most of her life in New York City. Crowded, congested, polluted, smelly NYC! So good they named it twice....

Just realised that Bill Wyman is not even on my long list. Fortunately I hadn't filled the place Tony Warren recently vacated.

I have a Parkside colliery tie from the days when I spent a week with the British Coal Marketing department at Newton-le-Willows. The colliery had very distinctive pit heads which were depicted on the bottom of the tie. They have since been blown up.
