    Hugo Chavez

Chavez to cotinue medical treatment in Cuba according to top legislator. http://reut.rs/Tj9LE0 EDIT: According to the same article, Chavez will be undergoing hyperbaric oxygenation, which is used often to repair the bone decay caused by cancer radiation treatments. The article also states that he hasn't been seen for 12 days in public, which is a big deal for Chavez.

Who Should Be On The 2013 Deathlist?

George H.W. Bush- to be 89 in June Jimmy Carter- he will be 89 in October Lindsay Lohan- she's often too out of it to know her age or where she is. Clive Swift- I know, he will only be 77 in Feb. but we don't want them all to be elderly Raul H. Castro (former Gov. of Arizona born in 1916) Francis 'mad frankie' Fraser- 1 time bank robber been in prison for more than 4 decades, he is 89 already Lee Radziwell (Jackie Bouvier Kennedy Onasis's sister) will be 80 and her sister's dead awhile already) King Abdullah (the 1st one) was another who was born in 1924 and is 88 already Prince Mikasa of Japan, born in 1915. Jack Vance- born in 1916 reading his books himself would likely do him in. I thought about Lee for my theme team of the rich and aristocratic, but I don't know if she's there yet... Also, I think her sister's demise was due in part to the fact that she smoked three cartons of cigarettes a day. Out of curiosity, do you think Mikasa will get the UK obit? He would fit quite nicely in the list I've already got going...

Who Should Be On The 2013 Deathlist?

I dunno how brain dead Mubarak can be, if he slipped and fell in the bathroom twice in the last two weeks on his own steam. http://m.upi.com/story/UPI-43501353435863/

    The Dead Of 2012

Search option as outlined above - http://www.deathlist...ndpost&p=178871 Both of you should have used the search option. News of his death was posted here yesterday. I've said this before, but I think all deaths should be recorded in the "Dead of (current year)" thread. That way, we have a comprehensive record of the year's deaths in one place. Wikipedia? Sorry Toast, for once I'm in agreement with Windsor - if you want to know who has died, go to the wikipedia deaths page. The DL should aspire to higher things. I hate The Dead thread and I'd lock it if I could; it's the natural habitat of the lazy and the unimaginative. There are hundreds of great, interesting threads into which just about every death could be found a suitable home if people would make the effort. I kind of agree here... This thread is pretty basic... Perhaps it's time for it to die...

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

Another Madoff-related suicide. The son of Bernie's longtime accountant has taken his own life. Why can't the whole Madoff clan all be this noose happy, you could have your own DDP Theme Team. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_MADOFF_ACCOUNTANT_SON_SUICIDE?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2012-11-18-12-46-46
