The world is upside down now. Former Iranian president Ahmadinejad has a comment about the riots in America and quotes Tupac: And China is also trolling the USA in return to their support for the Hong Kong riots: https://mothership.sg/2020/05/global-times-george-floyd/ -
Well, as a game-runner of the DDP which has seen a few rule changes since its creation, I disagree. But you are referring to the very specific case in which a deadpool changed hands in the course of a year, to which I say, the game creator can't have it both ways. Especially because good behaviour is not a special requirement for that particular game, but a common rule of every day life, like natural law vs. codified law. If people disagree, they can vote against the new host by not playing the next time.

Well... the gamerunner makes the rules... if you don't like it, don't play it.

Stevie Nicks has been fighting the Epstein-Barr virus since January: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/stevie-nicks-on-her-life-in-isolation-992443/ I was kind of disappointed to see that a Fleetwood Mac thread already existed.

Oh, her... loved her in the Loriot movie. A face you remembered. -
Oh wow, I just looked him up this morning. He was writing a new play, as a NYT article just two weeks ago told.
-
Woops, you're right. I marked Jamie Frierson as dead, and forgot to uncheck the QO box. Will correct in a minute.
-
In spite of his huge prominence in here, Balbir Singh is a apparently a unique hit.

For some reason, a completely unrelated woman in a wheelchair plans a "wheelchair marathon" in honor of Rory Gilsenan... which was covered six hours ago by a local UK paper... will the QO outfits follow? https://www.miltonkeynes.co.uk/news/people/disabled-woman-plans-26-mile-wheelchair-marathon-milton-keynes-shopping-centre-2864761

Alright, so we finally enough new hits for an update: Stanley Ho, Balbir Singh, and Gabriel Bacquier. But most important of all, Death Impends gets a hit with Ronald Shurer who gives him a pretty healthy advantage. Hutton Gibson has been picked, but seems to be a non-obit - if he is even dead. Luigi Simoni was not picked. Rank Team Points 1 Death Impends 719 2 gcreptile 592 3 RadGuy 574 4 Banana 566 5 Deadsox 533 6 Joey Russ 529 7 Cpt. Today I dreamed that Sumner Redstone died, and someone (Death Impends, I think) posted that Dilip Kumar wins the battle of the immortals. -

Yesterday, Brazil overtook the USA in the daily deaths statistic for the first time, according to Worldometers. Though I suspect it's because of a Memorial Day Weekend counting delay.

Sad. End of an era. (Next end of a jazz era: when Herbie Hancock dies)
-
I have about six candidates for the MMMDP now, but I bet they'll all be dead within the week (except for Balbir Singh, of course).
