Legendary Hall of Fame player Hal Greer dead at 81 after a brief illness: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2018/04/16/hall-famer-philadelphia-76-ers-legend-hal-greer-dies-81/519969002/ -
Ugh...grim... not one for long. I had a short time hesitating putting him on my team when some headline said that he has a maximum of five years to live (five years is a long time in deadpooling...). But the headline was a bit contradicted by the article, and well, my prejudice is that wrestlers don't life healthily enough to stall it.

Went through it yesterday. 15 deaths still sounds good. The Bushes, McCain, Bracknell, Jowell, Moss, Dole, Wouk - that's 11. Stirling Moss in bad health, Jill Gascoine in late-stage Alzheimer's, plus a few random deaths - Douglas? Norden?

Hawai'i had "Kayla" in the early 2000s. I was waiting for Hayley, or Kayley, or even Kay-Lee or something like that. Edit: Questions nobody ever asked: Was the switch from Jennifer to Jessica in 1985 inspired by David Lynch's "Dune"?

I still give her some time before her lungs fail (I imagine a horrible death). Maybe a particularly hot summer day?

Apparently an Italian (drol?) is now updating the Wikipedia page "Deaths of 2018".... -

Now it has filled up, but April 9th is still only at 6 notable deaths. I don't count the racehorse. Everything below 7 is a record.

Well done!

I think not. Garn (Poochie) missed it by one month (Barys Kit). My last game will/would end with 7/10 sometime this week.

Google leads me to believe that Nicole Flood (Rockhampton cancer mum) died on march 26th. But the Google link only goes to an obitary notice search machine. -

Unless that message is years old, then it's his second fight with kidney cancer. He had it years ago already.
