Obvious Death List pick beginning with 2017.

Merle Haggard resumed his tour earlier than expected, after his life-threatening double pneunomia. But he is struggling to perform: http://www.wideopencountry.com/merle-haggard-struggles-to-perform-after-pneumonia-scare/ (I'm thinking he deserves his own thread, if an admin would like to collect the previous posts on him.)

Tony Blackburn is already leading the tributes: http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/tony-blackburn-leads-tribute-paul-7406974 So I guess, Daniels will never be seen in public again, and it's a question of weeks.

Whom Are You Tarring With The Epithet "twunt"?
gcreptile replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Still far from the dizzying heights some of us have reached. I see this post is #6004 for me. 3000 in 14 months shows dedication, certainly. Or twunthood. Or both. Belated congratulations to your 6000th post then -
Whom Are You Tarring With The Epithet "twunt"?

I'm not going to be around this evening, so I pre-congratulate Sir Creep on his 3000th post, well done! -
Former Georgia senator Zell Miller, 84, hospitalized after a fall: http://politics.blog.ajc.com/2016/02/18/zell-miller-hospitalized-after-fall-at-young-harris-college/ He got a hip operation without hip replacment, so he ...probably... survives.

Former New York mayor David Dinkins, 88, hospitalized with pneunomia: http://observer.com/2016/02/former-mayor-david-dinkins-hospitalized-for-pneumonia/ He can still talk on the phone, so he ...probably... survives.

Reddit thread: Who are you shocked isn't dead yet? https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/46karl/who_are_you_shocked_isnt_dead_yet/ Lots of usual suspects, maybe a couple of interesting tidbits, like Stan Lee canceling more and more appearances.

Still think Hollingworth is just about notable enough to qualify for inclusion on the DL proper, but that's probably my inky background talking. The Telegraph will most likely lead with the obits when she goes. After all she was working for them when she reported the story. Yes, they had an article on her at her last birthday.

i see another lawsuit.......bet the docs want to save her and help her die but Von Ass's hobby is to sue everyone and everything You are right, i remember reading somewhere once that he always has at least 5 or 6 lawsuits on the go were he is suing someone over something, surely the courts will be sick and tired of him and would throw the majority of his cases out before they got to court, his lawyer must love it though. I personally couldn't be bothered with all the hassle. I would agree, he is setting this up.

Maybe the election will cause stress for him.... I actually read some of his books, and in one of them, long, long ago, he was looking forward to a Hillary Clinton presidency. I still remember that he literally wrote "Don't worry Hillary, you will save our world eventually." Now, a lot has happened since then. I can't even remember whether he supported Obama or Clinton... Being the toal lefty that he is, I would expect him to back Sanders now. I bet he's a bit conflicted.

Pantomime and comedian Brendan Healy dead at 59 after a long battle with cancer: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/brendan-healy-dead-comedian-actor-7400581

Hard to make the case that this isn't going to be the biggest miss of the committee this year, but then you really wouldn't have expected her to die just as she sort-of emerged from her exile.

According to her Facebook page, geriatric burlesque performer and Benidorm legend Sticky Vicky has cancer: https://twitter.com/AsaElliott/status/700386635251326981 Edit: This might have been better in the Lara Roxx thread, now that I am watching her on Youtube... -
I picked Big Ang. DDT as well, I think. Probably others, too. Edit: Here's a mirror obit. The daily mail headlines give me headaches: http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/big-angs-family-pay-tribute-7397117

A big one for Captain Chorizo, who has now become a top title candidate for the DDP. Maybe even THE top candidate as long as Michel Delpech doesn't receive an obit. Unfortunately for me, I thought she would have until 2017.

The tablets seem to be working: http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/Stoke-City-Gordon-Banks-hopes-winning-cancer/story-28754211-detail/story.html

Now not going to the Berlin film festival. Those pictures do not look healthy. He's not allowed to fly overseas at the moment http://www.mlive.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2016/02/michael_moore_not_allowed_to_f.html He'll have to miss out on Cannes too My prejudice: His type tends to die in the mid-60s. Let's see how old he is... 61.

Oh, how many votes have already been lost on these two!
-
I think he doesn't even leave the hospital anymore. He's been there for the majority of the past 5 years... They've repatedly treated him well (or at least well enough to survive) with antibiotics, but as a result, his immune system is destroyed, so now he gets ill every couple of weeks. But I guess his organs and circulatory system must still be in good shape, or else he would have died long ago.

Zsa Zsa.

Oh, Obama will kill Billy Graham and Nancy Reagan before the election as well. You heard it here first!

The death of Lewis Feild gives me my first hit in this competition. http://www.sltrib.com/sports/3544037-155/rodeo-hall-of-famer-utah-native So now I've scored with all my 8 teams, and all with different names, except the Inverse Dead Pool, of course.

Boutros Boutros-Ghali is my fifth hit, lol... 47 pts.... I think my five hits are worth about 130pts all together...

Nice. So that hospitalization turned out to be the end. Now let's see where I ended up placing him...
