He's in the german evening news. The trial is limited to 2 hrs per day. He isn't able to do more, they say. To me he looks remarkably stable, for a 94-year old.

Non-small cell lung cancer has a survival rate of what, 5%? He's more a lock than the pancreatic cancer patients.

I like how Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is still being described as a member of Al-Qaeda. I mean, that's how it all got started, when ISIS still affiliated itself with them. Now it's almost the other way round.

The Telegraph is now also going through its backlog. Felix Pirani? David Emms?

First hit for my B-Team (surely, Mother Angelica and Lord Avebury can't be far behind?). Glad I chose him instead of Bill Kenwright, who just seemed a little too healthy.

I've read fairly inside stuff on american politics for years. A trustworthy commenter on one of the sites I frequent, cites "rumors going around about Bill Clinton's health": https://politicalwire.com/2016/02/09/quote-of-the-day-1179/#disqus_thread

Mel Stottlemyre Sr, who has showed up here and there in deadpooling for years, is apparently doing better; http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/mel-stottlemyre-battling-blood-cancer-improving-health-article-1.2522861

Ken Watanabe, you know him, the mentor of Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai, has stomach cancer, and has had surgery: http://pagesix.com/2016/02/09/tony-nominated-actor-ken-watanabe-battling-stomach-cancer/ This one has potential I think.

Crossquoting this to the DDP thread because she was a unique for team Shovelful of Dirt, and to the surprise of no one the Mail delivers a QO. I actually wonder if we make it worth it for the Daily Mail, by sharing these links and clicking on them.

That's an old and fairly well-known rumour. Bowie's first wife Angela said that there was nothing to it, they were just two lads sharing a bed, as it used to be normal decades ago, especially in somewhat impoverished post WWII-Britain.

Oh, if Joao Havelange can survive his lung problems as a 99-year old, so can ZsaZsa...

Now you've beaten me to it. Peter Tobin now collapsed after a possible stroke: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3437033/Serial-killer-Peter-Tobin-69-rushed-hospital-collapsing-prison-suspected-stroke.html

Another cancer scare for Hugh Jackman: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3437491/Hugh-Jackman-FIFTH-skin-cancer-two-years-removed-nose-urges-fans-use-sunscreen-check-ups.html

Some note aside, ever since I read Egon Bahr's last book shortly before he died, I wondered if I could curse someone like that. It didn't work with Helmut Schmidt though, because I never got to read his last book (Ihave read a couple of them though in the past 2 years). Also, two months ago I read Henry Kissinger's latest book, didn't work obviously. But I got Roger Willemsen's final book as a birthday present and read a couple of pages, so I'm 2 out of 4 now.

Roger Willemsen is dead. https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.spiegel.de/kultur/gesellschaft/roger-willemsen-ist-tot-a-1076272.html&prev=search Date of Death 7 February 2016. Willz! Now you're covering even obscure german deaths! How do you do that? On a different note, they are all dying too fast, in the wrong competitions... I could have won the Deathrace three times now, if I had been a little more... skillful.

Has a mystery hand injury: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3435989/The-Duke-Edinburgh-sports-bandaged-hand-joins-Queen-Sunday-service-Sandringham.html

The Telegraph has picked up the trend and now has a rolling "gallery of dead people of culture": http://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/news/culture-stars-who-died-in-2016/ Maybe someone (cough...Spade...) could contact Martin Chilton to include Michel Delpech... Also, I didn't realize that there are already three deaths from the orbit of Jefferson Airplane.

Elton John has ended the feud with his 90-year old mother: http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/sir-elton-john-ended-bitter-7325466 Trying to reconcile before her death? (Yeah, the suggestion is his mom, not Elton) Counterargument: She had double-hip replacement last month and recovered.

Should The Unemployed Be Banned From Deathlist?
gcreptile replied to Dr. Zorders's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I voted no. -
Hmm, Ronald Mulkearns, former bishop of Ballarat and possibly a protector of the pedophilia system within the Australian church, may not be as sure a hit as I and maybe DDT believed: http://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/in-depth/royal-commission/george-pells-illness-not-as-bad-as-victims-abuse/news-story/1d2db99643c83b9a78bbe08050af73df His lawyer says he has colon cancer and maybe only months left to live. It sounded worse in Janaury when he supposedly was in palliative care. And the mastermind of it all, Cardinal Pell, definitely isn't as ill as he claims to be...
