"Take a photo of me pretending to be falling down a cliff" said the woman who then fell down a cliff: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3260620/British-tourist-Zoe-Woolmer-encouraged-risky-photo-falling-death.html Well, to be more precise, the tour guide encouraged her. Exemplary photos in the link if you care.

Now we know, dies aged 67. Well, well.... I removed him from my preliminary 2016 team after that interview exactly because of it. He seemed to me to be in somewhat stable condition and I only want "sure hits" (yeah i know, almost everyone does). There's been lots of talk of improvements in cancer medication lately and he seemed to be a beneficiary (like Clive James, for example).

Now I remember! That front page photo of Denis Healey reminds me of Freddie Jones playing Thufir Hawat in David Lynch's Dune: And Freddie Jones is still alive as well...

Still no article in the Guardian... are they preparing some bombastic piece? Or are they all asleep? The Daily Mail says it was a short illness, by the way.

Bawz. Big in Finland.... Ok, ok... I admit, bluegrass is about as popular with me as the Eurovision Song Contest in the USA.

I think gcreptile posted elsewhere and the post was moved here. He then added the "oh wow" bit and Sir Creep took a sarky swipe. Exactly! And that bluegrass is about as popular in Europe as the Eurovision Song Contest is in the USA.

Unless, that's your blog, you're not the only one: http://soletstalkabout.com/post/69077101122/tom-daley-dustin-lance-black-are-so-strange-to This relationship is curiously in between an 'ordinary' relationship and the trophy hunter/gold digger couple. I give them 5 years max. By then, Tom will have matured some more and will be getting too difficult for Dustin.

They name a rapper called Ol' Dirty Bastard as one of the most famous people to die in 2004, but not that old, dirty bastard Ronald Reagan? Interesting... many Avril Lavigne fans were born after Ronald Reagan was president (if one assumes that her fan base after her breakthrough in 2002 consisted mostly of girls under the age of 13). And probably all of them can't remember the time he was president, so for them, Ronald Reagan was just some old (and demented) guy.

Bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley, or as he is also known, Dr. Ralph Stanley, 88, has fractures his pelvis. He is expected to make a full recovery though: http://www.contactmusic.com/news/country-legend-dr-ralph-stanley-hospitalised-after-fall_4953846 Edit: Oh wow, he had his own thread! That didn't cross my mind.

If there is a bit of a rivalry going on between those sisters, if I read it correctly, then yes, it's a hostile move.

In the beginning there was nothing....which exploded. That is from Terry Pratchett. "Imagine putting a bunch of gold into a box, shaking up the box, and out comes a Rolex." That is from Justin Bieber.

Yes, if she lasts the next three months, she will be a certainty for 2016. Yes, I am not sure if she ever became internationally famous - I doubt it. It is a pity, as the English love a good eccentric and we all know Jeanne is very, very eccentric. I suppose it will come down to a choice between the DL Committee balancing a near-certain hit against Jeanne's international fame level. In terms of international fame, Frank Lowy, Bob Hawke and Rolf Harris are the three big names there and, out of them, Frank Lowy seems the strongest possibility. A former drunkard like Hawke could drop at any time but he has lasted well up until now. @gcreptile - Yes, forgot about Graham Richardson. What is wrong with Ray Lawler (aside from age)? I don't know, just age... I have him in my list because he'd probably be a unique hit (not anymore?).
