He's already beginning to have that typical gaunt look of pancreatic cancer. Steve Jobs managed to hang on a couple months with it though.

Dead Back from a trip... This death mystified me a little. Audigier was apparently wealthy and still relatively young. The cancer was not very progressed, officially, and while I had him in my database, I didn't think he was very likely to die. But the cancer thought otherwise.... @ YoungWillz: I would have posted that death here as well. It seems he was much more businessman than game designer.

Britney Spears, Kerry Katona, Heather Locklear et al.

Ok, at first it was reported that Kerry Katona had kicked her husband out of the house because of his partying, shortly after his Bell's Palsy episode: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3151844/Kerry-Katona-kicks-husband-George-Kay-family-home-nine-months-marriage.html Then a couple of hours later, he was admitted to a hospital: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3153199/Kerry-Katona-s-husband-George-Kay-hospitalised-following-episode-hotel-hours-kicked-family-home.html Her husband, George Kay, has a history of mental illness and was once found running down the street shouting that someone was going to kill him. Now Kerry Katona says her world is crumbling around her: http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/kerry-katona-feels-like-world-6030979 Her mother's heart disease is also said to be putting pressure on her, oh, and her children were involved in a car crash in May: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/showbiz/444008/Kerry-Katona-health Is it the cruelty of the world, or is it her? -

Legendary jockey Randy Romero has about a year left to live if he doesn't receive a new liver: http://www.nola.com/horseracing/index.ssf/2015/06/legendary_jockey_randy_romero_1.html If that doesn't kill him, the newly discovered tumour in his stomach might. Or his hepatitis C. Or his failing kidneys. Or the aftereffects of his numerous surgeries.

http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=1637&p=230983 Kathleen Staples, mother of Devon Staples, wants stricter laws regarding who can buy and use fireworks following her son's death. http://news.yahoo.com/mom-man-died-fireworks-accident-says-rules-too-205543867.html FFS, he was TWENTY TWO!!!!!!! As terrible as it is her son was a cockwand. I like the quote at the bottom of the article from Democratic rep, Michel Lajoie "They're going to say, 'Well, you can't regulate stupidity' ... and it's true, you can't. But the fact of the matter is you have to try something," Darwin Award material, surely. By the way, isn't there a Darwin thread somewhere? I thought this was it. That's how I made that double post. I didn't look at the "interesting ways to die" thread.because I previously searched for a Darwin award thread and I only got this.

Interesting, there's also mention of a cabinet post that might have gone to Grace Mugabe but now someone else gets it. The succession fights are starting.

That obit I mentioned in the classical music thread drew my attention to Sir Neville Marriner. He's 91 years old now, but at least for now, in good shape. He's also recently become a Companion of Honor.

Not Seen Any Good Films/movies
gcreptile replied to Paul Bearer's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I haven't seen The Avengers or Age of Ultron. I have no real motivation to watch any new generation comic movies at all. I don't quite get the hype. I really want to watch some more serialized drama, especially The Wire, maybe The Sopranos, and West Wing. I haven't seen a single episode of either one. Indeed, Nicolas Cage has tried and failed. -

lets face it his mental faculties have been pretty fucking dodgy at the best of times... I've heard and sometimes seen that old people, as they get more and more lost in dementia, turn aggressive to cover up their losing grip on reality. And there have been lots of inner troubles, attempted coups and purgings lately. But I never checked the situation there as regularly as this year. I smell a death late this year.
