Wendy Mitchell might not have cancer, but she has Alzheimer's: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2023/jun/18/wendy-mitchell-author-on-living-with-alzheimers -
Oh no, that's sad and depressing. There kind of couldn't have been any other way though, because he would have been killed anyway if the Putin regime had shown any signs of weakness. Still, a symbol has died.

I don't seem to be missing all that much here in Armenia. (Sorry to whomever I've just doomed to death)

Heh... I had a similar confusion and my joke was going to be "We asked a hundred people to name a word that ends in -enis."

Well, hello and goodbye then ;). Somehow I bet you're not going to Berlin this time, but if you're ever here, we can have a beer.

Tomorrow morning, I will be leaving for a holiday. So there may not be any updates until I'm back. I return late on the 18th, so there should be an update on the 19th at the latest.

Seiji Ozawa has passed the baton for good at the age of 88. The japanese conductor had been suffering from Alzheimer's for a while now and looked very diminished in some final pictures a couple of months ago. He was an eminent conductor after a rugby iinjury to his finger destroyed his dreams of becoming a pianist. He was a lover of 20th century classical music, you know, the weird, difficult kind. Three teams score but the lead changes nowhere (after accounting for tie-breakers). livingbygrace 0-6 Therewillbedeaths7 Gooseberry Crumble 0-10 Famous6eva GuyFromFuture 6-3 Liz Lemon Caleb H 3-6 Bibliogryphon Dying Probably 0-7 max bossetti Wormfarmer 3-0 Thatcher Yorkshire Banker 3-3 DeathByArsenic The Immortal 0-0 justonecornetto GreatUncleBulgaria 0-3 Mortal Caso theoldlady 0-0 Baby Blue

Minimalists (and other classical composers/musicians)
gcreptile replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
Sad, huge name. This actually might be the one year I haven't picked him in anything. But then, he had cancer twice years ago already. -
You know how this goes, "I do this, but you do that", etc... Both parties have candidates that would lose to anyone except that other guy. Every single wrong word will be tweeted, there's no value in this.

I was kind of thinking that maybe these words made it into the report -unredacted- so that Biden can refute them in a forceful press conference. And Team Biden moved quickly there. The AP headlines seem to deliver what they were hoping for. At the same time, Biden himself cant quite refute the "appearance" of being old. If it was their strategy, the problem is that Biden IS actually old, and slow. He knows he has to speak fast in this media environment but obviously cant. That's why the misspeaking happens. A president probably has to make fewer do-or-die decisions than movies suggest, but his opponents will probably not let him get comfortable in a "wise old man" role. His team will have be very careful in choosing future appearances. The campaign will force him to. I actually wonder now how german chancellor Adenauer did, being in office in his 80s.

Somebody just added Rey Mysterio to the "Deaths of 2024" Wikipedia page. Big if true, I think. Edit: And gone after 3 minutes.

I see, now that Meghan has clogged up Katherine's tubes, she can eliminate the family one by one.

Well, without inquiring how you got your inside knowledge, it's good to know to keep an eye on this.

The "unnatural death" variable can be set independently from the death itself. So the death can be scored and the unnatural death can be added later. It's really not a question of doing more or less work either way.

I think your game will be the highlight of round two, it's evenly matched - if I may say so. It's very rare that a new player already shows a team that could be worthy of a title contender. But it can happen in football tournaments, too. If a sheikh buys some fifth-league team and gets a couple of world class players, any Cup draw that is supposed to avoid top matchups in the first round will have such a game. I suspect that a different kind of random draw would have led to more such imbalances.

Thread for the South African rogue developer/investor/eccentric billionaire Elon Musk. Let me see, why was he in the news lately: - calls the Thai cave engineer a pedo and gets sued for it - wonders about taking his company off the stock exchange publicly, crashing its value - now under investigation by the US justice department - smoking a joint on a recorded radio show - says he works 120 hours a week Did you know there is a video of him with a flamethrower? I think he was always a bit on the cooky side, although he really had great success with his first enterprises, including Paypal. But he might be heading for some kind of total meltdown.

Heh, Cup and DeathByNumbers.... full-time job... Alright, let's do this while we're at it. All purposes QO for Kurt Hamrin: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/25709016/kurt-hamrin-dead-world-cup-pele/ Occasionally, Sweden becomes a surprise title contender at the Football World Cup, though admittedly, they only did so once in the past 60 years. Their biggest achievement was the 2nd place in 1958 though and Hamrin seems to have been the most prominent name of that team only stopped by the Brazilian team that began to shape itself around a young Pelé. Famous6eva was the only one to pick Hamrin and gets richly rewarded with a double-digit lead. livingbygrace 0-3 Therewillbedeaths7 Gooseberry Crumble 0-10 Famous6eva GuyFromFuture 6-3 Liz Lemon Caleb H 0-6 Bibliogryphon Dying Probably 0-7 max bossetti Wormfarmer 3-0 Thatcher Yorkshire Banker 3-0 DeathByArsenic The Immortal 0-0 justonecornetto GreatUncleBulgaria 0-3 Mortal Caso theoldlady 0-0 Baby Blue
