Not so fast, Z. I haven't gotten a response from TMIB yet. If he feels that I'm grasping at straws here, then I won't get my 12 points. So let's see how it goes. :/

    Hollywood Possibilities

How well-known are these stars of American Westerns tv-series of the 50s & 60s in Britain? Robert Horton (Co-star of Wagon Train) Hugh O'Brian (Star of The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp) Clint Walker (Star of Cheyenne) Clu Gulager (Co-star of The Tall Man) Ty Hardin (Star of Bronco) Will Hutchins (Co-star of Sugarfoot) I think O'Brian and possibly Clint Walker are "obitable".

    Derby Dead Pool 2015

#Y u no give obits to Swedish celebs, Britain? #Alice Babs issue all over again Please oh please let this count as an acceptable obit for Magnus Härenstam for the reasons stated below: 1. It's from BBC, which is one of the allowed newspapers according to the list. 2. An employee of the highly respectable media company that is BBC had to physically type down Magnus' death date on that page. If Magnus was a nobody, this wouldn't have happened. Clearly, his death was noted in British media in a literal sense even if there was no "proper" obit. 3. The 2nd argument carries extra weight when we consider that another "List of the lost" listee, musician James Vardra, is NOT written about at all there. So, not everybody are automatically, by default, included and/or reported as dead on BBC Music. 4. I really want those damn 12 points. Sincerely, Predictor.

    Kirk Douglas

Can't see him lasting another half decade, his public appearances have become rarer and rarer, missing his sisters funeral makes you wonder just how he's holding up Well, they lived on opposite sides of the American coast and the funeral date was too close to the death date (Sunday-Tuesday = 2 days). So the answer for his absence could be as simple as not having enough time to schedule a relatively long trip for a 98-year old. Did Kirk attend Lauren Bacall's funeral last year? Plus, maybe he's slightly aviophobic because the 1991 helicopter crash?

    Lookie Likey

Pomeroy was only about 14 or 15 when that drawing was done and I may be a lot of things, but horny for teenage boys (or girls) I am not (sorry Deathray) Getting back on topic I always thought Grotbags and Claire Raynor were the same person growing up but trying to find photos that demonstrated the likeness has proved that they don't really look very similar. Any reason for picking me in particular out of all the younger forumers? I'm trying to work out if it's a complement or an insult? Maybe the whole "serial Wikipedia article-killer" thing you did a couple of years ago is still haunting your rep?

    A Night To Remember

Do we really need an individual thread for every movie ever made? Besides, copy-pasting cast members from IMDb, including the uncredited ones (old lady, seaman, etc), is about as uncreative and uninteresting as it gets.

    Life Is In Your Hands

[Robin Williams in August 2014]: "I'm sick of life, I will finally end it and have eternal peace." [Shaun of the Dead in September 2015]: "I'll use my resurrecting abilities to bring Robin Williams back to life." [Robin Williams]: "Huh? What the hell, I'm back again? WHAT JERK DID THIS TO ME?"
  19. Aren't we all immortal in the sense that we can, at any given time, ask ourselves "am I alive right now?" The answer will always be "yes" in true Descartes style. Once we die, we won't have the consciousness to actually know that we are dead. So...the timespan between our brain's birth to our brain's death is eternity. Nothing comes before or after eternity.

    Zsa Zsa Gabor

I think the issue we have all got when it comes to Zsa Zsa is that we have become biased in believing she is pretty much indestructable.Yes she is clearly very resilient and has fought off many health problems but if we didn`t know that and just went to visit her in her hospice bed we would all no doubt say it`s months at most.I really hope she does die soon though. She is only existing not living in a meaningful sense of the word.Be honest everyone if your wife was Zsa Zsa would you just withdraw the feeding tube? No, if I were married to Zsa Zsa, I'd probably end up in hospice care myself and beg for someone to withdraw MY feeding tube. Combinedly, the three Gabor sisters have been married 20 times. 20/3 = 6.66 husbands per sister. The only man to have been married to more than one sister, George Sanders, ended up killing himself eventually.

    Kirk Douglas

Really? I know quite a few people who have died in the last 10 years, and there are numerous other posters who have mentioned their own bereavements. Think your comment is the odd one. I agree with Dead Wait. Statistically speaking, it's unlikely that any of the posters from 10 years ago were above retirement age. Thus, the statistical likelihood of any of them being dead today is fairly small. Of course, it's certainly possible, but guest's comment would've suited better had he referred to posters from the 1970s/1980s instead. (Not that Internet existed then, but you get the idea).

    May I Perchance Rant?

I think it serves him (SC) right since he's always whining about new threads that he consider to be superfluous. Since the "copy-paste Sanford cast members from IMDb" list IS relevant in the sitcom thread, the merge is nothing but his own words thrown back at him. Hah.
