Rather than create a whole new post to convey Birthday wishes and the complete understanding of why you might be a smidge late with submission, I just liked wills post instead because that would convey the same without the need for superfluous posting clogging the place up. Oh, wait a min. Feck.

PM'd in the hopes I don't get knocked out in the next few hours or miscounted or something.

I'd get down to the doctors sharpish and check that at least one type hasn't started lunch somewhat early.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
En Passant replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Had a ponder about this. I'll take the bus over the awful business of flying to be honest. For work anyway. ymmv. Sounds glamorous but just isn't in practice imo, it's simply endless tedium in airports:- having to be there hours beforehand, waiting at gates, queueing for customs, baggage, etc etc, (and I probably took a bus to get there anyway ) This from something of an aviation fan for the actual plane bit. -
You've gone native very fast.

That's one of those where I'm sure I should cringe, not laugh, but did anyway. To paraphrase some old line I forget the provenance of "but I had the grace to feel bad about it".....Rab C Nesbitt probably.

"Oohhh no missus, really, titter ye not!" "EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" Damn, I missed that episode.

Darter then. Or possibly Dartser even.

Neither had I and since my Inverse team is as fucked as yours by him, I wish I never had.

You're deadly serious about that aren't you? Even if I flew the things, I'd not know that. I often park in Tesco's but couldn't name the space from a picture.

McCririck 11-4 on.

You're safe by miles having her 6th on list, compared to those now staring at an abyss including me, fingers entirely unnecessary . Day: Joey - 2nd on list Clorox and Qtips - 3rd Me - 4th You - 6th I'll escape just if nobody else at all goes in the remaining half a month, but these things are, as we all know, like buses, another one could shake it all up again. So after 2 1/2 months of thinking this is a breeze these folks are immortal:- an abrupt call to reality. On the plus side for Joey, Clorox and Qtips, never say die eh? Tense now.

Ditto. It was aimed at the Royal Family but not thought through.

Tonight I finally made a spreadsheet I've been toying with in my head for a while. A garden of remembrance if you will, it's a list of people I've known personally who are now gone. Like it or not I've reached an age where that's a pretty long list of people I've known that I'll never see again. Sub pages for relatives near and far, friends, and even people that I just knew peripherally such as "Mick down the pub" who for reasons I wish I'd paid more attention to at the time strung himself up in his garage. It just all seems so tragic. I am starting to hugely sympathise with that saying from old folks "I've had enough, everyone I ever knew is already gone". Don't get me wrong, there's still plenty of folks still around that aren't on the sheet and I'm not 90 so there's some time yet and life to be lived, but, ha, we're probably all slightly morbid (realistic?) souls or we'd not be here. Note to self: even though you don't drink that much these days, 4 tins and a bunch of minor key songs is sometimes a worse idea than just hitting the sack.

I was visited by a spirit last night for my good deeds. She granted me one wish. I said, "I would like a motorway direct to New York from London, built on the sea, so I can easily visit my daughter any time" She answered, "But son, the amount of concrete, the engineering, it's far too difficult, too much work. You must think of something else" "Okay", I said, "I want you to predict Arsenal's next result" She paused for a moment. "You want one lane or two on that motorway?" AFAICT after last month's rules misadventure and pending any update from the showrrunner on GUN's idea (or any other decision), I'm assuming we can't change teams tomorrow? At this rate we're all going to December when one unlikely death (QE2 or such?) will wipe us all out and any actual 'winner' will only be determined by countback on the postion in their respective list.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death

Incompatible. Though that view has got me in some arguments I'd as soon not have had. To be fair, there are plenty of occasions where a decision based on astrology would probably be better than the ones our politicians seem to make. Grayling really should take it up, he'd probably cost us less. -

All these questionnaires seem to be the same in that regard, no place for nuance. I think they are supposedly designed so that all works out in the wash, although I'm not sure about the specifics of how. I also don't understand the relevance of that entire page devoted to belief (or not) in acupuncture, astrology, the existence of bigfoot and other assorted quackery....where in my view any answer other than strongly think that's utter garbage should get your entire result invalidated -

Not sure if I should be worried or proud. I could have just copy/pasted Deathers or Joey pretty much -
I'd have said it was reasonably difficult to go downhill from Pauls starter. How wrong can one be?
