Crap, he's not made the starting line-up. Arg.... Might come off the bench. As might Cat and Wilz if I read their interest correctly although it's entirely possible that I have that utterly wrong. btw I know little enough about football that I don't know who Shane Ferguson actually is.

WTF is one of those? Doesn't matter since: A: Its a US football position, who cares? B: That team isn't in the NFL, its some locals from Okie Dokie McChokie in flyover land so even on the remote chance you gave a stuff about the game in the first place, it's in a non-entity league so you still don't. C: He's not one any more anyway because i) he's former and ii) he's dead.

Ah now, that is true of commercial jets. I'm not so certain it is for light aircraft of the sort Mr Numan flies, vfr, not in controlled airways, ppl not cpl/atpl so less experience etc etc. That's not to say it's comparable to base jumping or such as some folk seem to believe..... -
"The attacker, whose name has not been released, had two guns." - As one does on a trip out to any town in Fla. They just don't seem to get it. /rant off

You forgot to add there's tons of thick, very easily swayed people in this country who love to get frightened about the wrong thing.like Halibuts? See, here's one of the kind of people I'm talking about. MK isn't in 'this' country afaik. -

Pshaw, keep on posting where you like, start new threads, post in inappropriate ones, multiple post in several threads that might have relevance. The ensuing indignation is far more entertaining than learning that somebody I never heard of died and was correctly categorized first time with one only post. -

Don't be ridiculous... It's a pitching wedge, no more. -
Couldn't agree more. Poor man's Chelsea Tractor as well, figures. The bin might be annoying, but not nearly so much as the car.

If you think your job is boring, repetitive and utterly pointless, cheer up, consider the fact that there's a fellow somewhere in Bavaria installing the indicators on BMW's.

That'll teach me to pay attention to what I'm quoting I was replying to this one: http://bleacherrepor...-dies-at-age-23 not this one: http://www.ilfattoqu...-ladri/2192908/ Sorry bout that.

Then you will be condemned to give your house to the burglar if he's wounded or to his relatives if he's dead, at least in Italy, where everyone is concerned about the rights of poor robbers but no one cares about hones people (Not populism, only truth).http://www.ilfattoquotidiano.it/2015/11/05/ermes-mattielli-morto-il-commerciante-condannato-per-aver-sparato-ai-ladri/2192908/ abolishing the death penalty is a slippery slope. Shooting people is a slippery slope.. Jehovah's Witnesses, trick or treaters all become fair game. <snip> You say that as if it's a bad thing . More seriously, I have ranted about gun control on a few occasions around here. However even I have a problem with this one. I fully understand Toasts viewpoint and anyone else who sees it that way. "If you don't want to get shot, don't break into my house, particularly at night whilst I'm in it and add a huge amount of fear to the intrusion and loss I would already feel if you did it whilst i was out at work". If you do this in a country where the gun ownership is as high as it is in the US, and the right to defend ones property with firearms is enshrined in law, you have to at least consider that this may be the consequence. This is in fact one of the key arguments that the NRA propound for gun ownership "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun". Now I don't agree with that principle, we don't have it in this country, and I believe the NRA to be disingenuous about it in any case (they use this but actually they care about flogging guns), however, this is exactly the type of case that lends weight to their argument not detracts from it. What concerns me more is the case where the gun that was held in the property ostensibly for the reason this one was used but is then found by little Jemima and used on little Johnny or Ralph comes home from the bar shitfaced and argues with Marge and one shoots the other etc etc. So whilst any death is sad (I don't know why this guy was so badly off he felt he had to break into somebody elses house and scare the bejesus out of them whilst trying to steal their property, I should imagine that your circumstances have to be pretty dire to set out on this course, but even in America there must be better ways...) this one is unlikely to be used in any argument for gun control.

Ahahaha, no, not a joke, but provided more of a laugh than most variations of the Englishman, Irishman and Scotsmen who habitually spend their time walking into bars.

That's a lot of teams. IMO he passes more than a passing resemblance to Gary Oldman as Mason Verger. Not a good look.....

It's nothing to do with your intelligence Lardy, or any of us. It's the fact that they obfuscate the truth to serve their own ends. If you're not on the inside you have no chance. I posted in here weeks ago that I'd like the issues laid before me in an intelligible format so that I could make something approaching an informed choice. Despite living in an age where the information has theoretically never been more readily available to the common voter, I'm barely any the wiser now than I was then. In some ways it's actually got worse, because the closer we get to the date, the more they are ramping up the fear factor without actually doing one jot of explanation. So much so in fact that Nicola Sturgeon who is in favour of remaining has pointed out that they are overdoing it. It's not you. But you knew that. -
Never mind that Cat, I want to know why the Leicester ring road is such utter wank. It must have sent me fucking MILES out of my way to get onto the M1 for the Eat Mids airport. They should build a road straight across, preferably across Citys ground too. Where were you coming from. You may have been better using the A14 to get on the M1 and avoid Leicester altogether. By any means possible. Ah, my coat....

Grrrrr....long press on the web address , copy, paste in. No excuse. Yeh but I was driving and had a can of Special Brew in the other hand so it was a bit awkward. Grrrr... I thought you dames could multitask? That's why you have tits . Special Brew wedged there, steering wheel held by your knees, and both hands free for the phone. Not fucking hard... Nor would I be faced with that.

30 seconds at a loose end was enough to discover that no stadium in the world currently has a standard capacity of even 1/3 of your proposed half a million and that further none has even for a one off with revised seating held more than half that. If all the countries in the world, many more populous than ours don't need them, why do you consider that we do? Besides as has already been alluded to, there is nowhere in the country with the infrastructure to support access to such a white elephant. Aside from the right to wave a flag with "mines bigger than yours" emblazoned across it I really don't see the point?
