I wish he'd get that awful laugh a transplant.

I'm sure I'm just be being cynical but - Girl nobody ever heard of with an armourer job in the movie business with responsibility for ammo on set but nowhere near rich and famous. 18 months jail. Rich famous actor who pointed and fired the gun. Dismissed in a couple of days. Ok. Of course that could all be right and proper, we don't have all the evidence and I detest conspiracy theories, but there's still a little bit of me that.....well, y'know.

I meant the old crem actually, but was trying not to be too rude. However, yeah, i see your point.

I don't get the point of travelling all the way to Bristols extraordinarily high Clifton suspension bridge - to leave the bodies in the suitcases - On the bridge? Presumably it has anti-suicide fencing or the like making it pretty hard to lump a heavy suitcase off it and the perpetrator was too dim to think to look that up before travelling? Read somewhere he went in taxi? Do what? "help me with these mate..no don't worry its just a bit of tomato sauce" Strange anyway. Guess we'll find out in due course. Or not. Not always London, just things that are newsworthy, there was lot of coverage of the two students and a van driver killed in Nottingham. London has a 10 million population - twice that of Scotland as an example. Or perhaps its the strain of living there....I got out Crossbows - Yeah, there probably will be now one might imagine....

Sounds familiar somehow.

Sorry, I was joking. But probably not obvious. No offence Paul.

This, surely, is more goals than have been scored in the whole tournament so far?.....well, it feels like it. England 2 - 1 Spain.

Lucifer to the four horsemen...."Doh!....No, no, no, not that one".

I'm fairly sure that's a euphemism for, as you first suggested, somebody hasn't paid the bill. And for sure the heart thing was there before the site went down.

Well, exactly, no? I nearly quoted Rio as one of those 'on the downslope' singles Anyway here we go again derailing some thread with a 2-way conversation -

Aye but a bit of an exception that proves the rule no? And afaik, not exactly one of their bigger hits. (for some reason I can't easily explain I really like the sleepthief cover of that, might be the bassline i suppose...that hits a certain spot). -

Fucking flags. Cause more bloody issues than policies. Even if they're in a worthy cause there's always somebody bleating that they shouldn't have been flown and causing more division (yes you currently Braverman). The trouble is, unless you're flying a 'peace to the world' flag, you're always going to piss on somebody's chips. (and yeah, even that one probably gets on one group or anothers tits) Time to form a 'Chainsaw all the flagpoles' party. -

Annoys me too. Still, they weren't the only band of pretty boys who started out as new wave/electronic/prog rock(even), who were then promoted by the industry as boy bands and pushed in the direction of songs that pandered to that market. Seems teenaged girls bought more records than the target audience of their early stuff and capitalism sees to the rest... Duran Duran for one. First single iirc "Planet Earth" all sci-fi like the source of their name. Soon after that?..... Ah well. -
To be fair, it's no wonder @diego doesn't have a clue.....

I think we are maybe just used to seeing Grace look bloody ageless and finally there's some small sign of it? The Biggles hat and sunglasses thing is dressing oddly I'll give you .

Ludicrous hyperbole. Nobody anywhere has said anything about "Letting criminals off scott-free". -

Looking like fabulous news from over the channel. Also just read that James Timpson has been made prisons minister: "Timpson, 52, has argued that only a third of prisoners should definitely be in custody, saying in a TV interview earlier this year that “the UK is addicted to sentencing and punishment"” Perhaps he'll have the power to finally fix the ignominy of existing IPP's. It's been a good weekend so far for my money. Amusing that a man whose money comes from a from key-cutting family business should be in charge of prisons....

I paused for thought on that too. And wiki didn't really enlighten me a great deal either (at least in respect of one specific Reform candidate being one). I mean in this specific election weren't they nearly all a paper candidate? Their prospect of actually winning in most instances was incredibly low. It seems to me, somewhat simplistically I suppose (for now anyway, need more information and thought on it), that their main Raison D' être was to run a spoiler campaign on the Tories to prove a point for some kind of proper challenge further down the line. They only got 4 seats on 4M vote because in most places they split the Tory vote and allowed Labour even more gains. It seems remarkably unlikely they can't have known this beforehand.
