Maybe so. But you got to love him, he's tried and improved over his time here. Cannot seriously diss someone who tries that hard. So many don't. But yes, room to improve further on the 'that's interesting' basis. (don't we all? Well I do :P). -
Binface 87, Rejoin EU 80, Labour 79, Green 79. Apparently.

How am I supposed to know the difference in your petty local squabbles over which pigeon is faster or which ferret is the more lithe?

Same page? It's nearly word for word. You are Alastair Campbell and I claim my 5 pounds.

It is absolutely critical we get rid of the Tories and by as wide a margin as possible. Absolutely everything else should take a back seat. As with yourself this is just an opinion, but Abbott really is 'making this all about her' (again, in my opinion). It's a massive distraction, and whether or not she's 'a bit of a loon' can only harm the overall competence picture. To be honest, Labour should have just left her alone (rightly or wrongly), it'd be quieter.

Unbelievable, I know nothing about the bishop of Dover beyond what I can see (which looks like token - black - woman), but I'd much rather they kept religion right out of politics, (we may not have that official separation of Church and State the yanks do but we damn well should have.) But Farage and Morgan? Oh christ they could fill the Albert Hall with the piss they've taken. Oh go on, I need a laugh and he's a complete cunt. I'll even start you off, why should we listen to a man who doesn't have time to stand for his own fucking party because he's too busy campaigning for Donald "criminal" Trump in some other country?.....

Much improved in (christ, it's really....) 18 months since we all thought the like button had been stuck down with superglue. Polite and everything. Your taste in music is still far too slushy though -

I've often considered that the right, i.e. Tory and potential Tory voters are more apt to lie about it than the left, which would in turn show as a bias in polls based on what people say they'll do. It's hardly a leap to imagine people saying they will vote for the good of all, but secretly ticking a box where they think they'll personally pay a few less % in tax or some other clearly selfish objective like less money for state schools or hospitals when they use private. Of course the politicians also smudge these issues if they think it'll lose votes. They pretty much always try to spin it as spending more yet collecting less (or not as much more as feared) in some way. It's politics.... Hardly rocket science I know . And yet despite this fear the polls are normally pretty close. Mind, Brexit was a bit of a shock to a lot really . Maybe I'm completely wrong of course. A lot of people have put a lot of effort into these predictions. Far more than my random crem-like meanderings.

Oh yes, why didn't we think of that? Bound to be pretty likely. Lets put the dead ex-pres in a freezer for 6 months to hide the fact from the public and even better we can get another 100 pages on Deathlist with mad conspiracy theories. Fuck me.

Not aware of any passport (at least a UK one, having an address on it). You don't need address on whatever form of acceptable ID you use anyway, as stated, fake news. Checked here. (You never seem to bother with a source, so I will). I'd imagine more people will use a driving licence, which as it happens does have your address. But as above it's unnecessary. This however is an opinion, I have no data to back up this assumption, it's just a guess.

Car parks is everyone forget-about-it. Halfords is more of a worry, but fixable. Boris, oh dear, abandon all hope.

Yes. I wondered about the parameters as one always does with such things. Lies, damned lies and statistics and so forth. However, it does list a source and a reputable one at that. Also, what other dates can you put around it? If you go back more than the 30 odd years here, what difference would that make anyway? Or start the y axis at 0 rather than 100 and it'd maybe look a bit less steep I suppose. Yes I'll grant the Tories the pandemic didn't help, but even allowing for the 2020 spike it's pretty damning.

I'd have said this is more the sort of thing people care about.

"In theory Mr Jones if we remove all your organs, put them in a blender and then re-assemble them we could remove all those nasty cancer cells. There are unfortunately several practical problems currently" Physicist surely? And apologies, it's a cheap shot at a typo.

That wasn't the first thing that crossed my mind when I read about the loss of his limbs. Trickier now I suppose.

Since you are editing the HTML directly, I suspect there's no difference between a mac and a pc in this case, and is thus more useful than my method above if people can do it. HTML is interpreted by the browser not the OS. I'll certainly give that a go next time.

Might help: Save them locally and use something like 'paint' to resize it. Obviously that's a pc and m$oft windoze. I'd imagine there's something similar in the Apple world if your laptop is a mac. Won't help - but gets it off my chest: Phones - you'd have to ask somebody else, I have one of course but CBA with it when I have a pc in front of me with a 40" screen instead of a 6" one. If I'm out, I'm not trying to post here. Also if the image is a link rather than a local copy I don't know how, I think I tried once and gave up and just download them to resize locally. It's an ROI thing, I don't post enough images to spend the effort. I'm absolutely certain others know more, but in the absence of any answer so far.....
