I put an angry on this post. Not because I am you understand, far from it, but because you had one of everything else (edit: ok nearly, there's no shocked yet, but there probably will be now) which I don't recall seeing before and thought it's time for a full house somewhere.

dead Sinéad O'Connor aka Shuhada' Davitt
En Passant replied to Spade_Cooley's topic in DeathList Forum
Yet another Grauniad book plug masquerading as news. That said it was probably a more interesting read than the actual news. -
The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous
En Passant replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
The original comment was based on man and dog (something about those slightly wall eyes and the clamped down grin).... but yes, I see that too. -

Half a mind to repost this in the looky likey thread. -
The English Language
En Passant replied to Larry Pestilence III's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Whilst I concur, this is a can of worms as it's not your birthday in the first place, it's the anniversary of your birthday. The French have it on this occasion. -
Oh me too, but they probably aren't 'lighting department certified' and tomorrow will be claiming that polypropylene carpets are made from Welsh sheep and the day after that all the King sized fitted sheets are made from 800 thread Egyptian cotton....because those are the departments they got shoved in. And frankly for 9 quid an hour I might be the same. All I'm really saying is I would be surprised if I got the same level of product knowledge at John Lewis, or perhaps more topically since they just went bust, Debenhams. Though of course I know you know this.

But of course, yet this is just the price you pay for the price you pay. Alternatively I could also have said something along the lines of: - if the people at the top are going to make billions yet the price is what attracts customers in the first place, then savings have to be made somewhere... so it's staff pay and training. But 1. this is hardly news to anyone, and 2. It's far less snappy.

When will Harry and meghan divorce if at all?
En Passant replied to the_engineer's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
TMI. Oi, this is DL. Not fuckin' grindr. Back somewhat on topic. Toast is indeed correct, Andrew isn't a paedophile. He hasn't exactly done himself any favours though has he? So I'm still going to laugh at the jokes such as "I fuckin told you, stop calling him great uncle nonce" even if they aren't technically accurate. But ultimately no, he's not like that lost prophets sicko. As to the ginger chancer and his mrs, so long as we're not paying tax to fund 'em, I don't much care. But still reserve the right to laugh at any good jibes. -
UFOs, Space Aliens and the like
En Passant replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
We really should hope there are no signs of life on Mars and here is a better explanation than I could ever hope to provide as to why. He also debunks a lot of the crap about UFO's whilst he's at it. Not that I was ever a believer, but this is also one of the better arguments against UFO's pitching up any time soon or indeed ever. People can have as much fun as they like with conspiracy theories, and I shall continue to have fun applying Occams Razor. Kennedy assassination, Roswell, 9/11was the gubmint conspiracists, climate change deniers, 5g phone anti-vaxxers..... Certified tin-hat-brigade each and every one. Loonies at best, actually dangerous at worst. Fortunately for most, I'm not here all week, it's been a bit boring lately. -
Precisely what I, @The Quim Reaper, @Toast and @Lord Fellatio Nelson have banged on about for a while now.

Eh? Unless there's a joke I'm spectacularly missing here somehow, so was msc, Celia is the same person as those accounts on here. -
Famous celebrity births , pregnancies and babies
En Passant replied to Gooseberry Crumble's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Hm, you're onto something there my Wombling chum. Name one boy band member married to a lady from WSL?* *I can't really name any of either camp off the top of my head apart from maybe Robbie Williams, but I realise that's a personal distaste for junk pop and football and isn't widely held. -
DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
En Passant replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Precisely why I want Deathers back. Frankly Zorders too though he's a bit much for some on occasion I guess. PC? No way. Snowflakes? Nope. Offensive and opinionated? Yes. Boring? Never. You two fucks aren't bad mind . -
Surely you could also have right field or centre field? In fact why restrict it to outfielders at all? Who? First base.....

Famous celebrity births , pregnancies and babies
En Passant replied to Gooseberry Crumble's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Don't fucking encourage him. It was looking good with him as the only poster for over a month aside from pot shots similar to this. ps. @Gooseberry Crumble. No offence intended by the 'him' reference, I know you have a name mate. pps. My persona as a rude old curmudgeon probably needs some work. -
Yeah, I edited it to show I was nowhere near first whilst you were telling me I may as well have been last

Do I have to like the song I choose? If so, I agree with you, that was a massive fail on my part.

A troll around wiki produces..... The Housemartins - Happy hour (reached #3 uk, Caravan of love was #1). Though I have no other reason to make it that particular song than it was their 2nd highest seller. Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim lives in Brighton. Paul Heaton was founder member of The Beautiful South and (it says here) a fair few of their songs were founded on alcoholic reminiscences... Dave Hemingway was also in both bands. Stan Cullimore (not Collymore :P) was born Ian Peter Cullimore and is now a journalist in the Bristol area. Hugh Whitaker " sent to prison for six years for assaulting former business associate James Hewitt with an axe and setting fire to his house on three occasions " . Can't say his wiki pic would give you a clue..... Though I don't think they're the guys you are referencing and thus are dead ends but interesting nonetheless. And whilst composing that TQR gets in there. Good, I don't have to think of another.

Not the first time I've been called a devious bastard.

Yes. Thanks. Your turn.

I feel stupid now because I fear the clues probably make no sense outside my head. One more try at some sort of cryptic.... The last weekend in October (most places) / It's a single name and a pun, specifically a homonym. I'm fairly certain if you get it, you'll absolutely know it's right.

Brushes off all the cobwebs in this place. Yeay! - A hit. Boo! - It wasn't Murdoch.
-
um, no. Of my 2 options I'm going to go with I made it too hard. See? I told you I was no good at this. A specific weekend in Autumn - song / distributes everything equitably - artist.
