Actually PB either take him off mod preview or bin the entire content. TBH he's even more annoying than he was before, which I would have argued was impossible. I still miss Deathers, I had a huge amount of time for him, at least he was interesting.

To be fair, they're being visited by the bloody Prime Minister which hardly happens every day so even if you quite reasonably think he's an utter You're likely to take a break from actual work to watch, unless you're on a production line or something.

Famous celebrity births , pregnancies and babies

Oh dear me no. It was a clearly misguided attempt at sarcasm as a change of gear from some random yawn gif. That said at least I actually know who the hell Joaquin Phoenix is (even if I've never heard of Rooney Mara or seen anything she was in and with a name like that I'd probably recall). Conversion is a long way off mate, hell freezing over and so forth. -

Not certain why Rover has addressed his argument at my post rather than LFN's other than simply daisy chaining. However I didn't actually say Attenborough's activities were bad (I don't believe they are overall), simply affirmed that few things are ever completely black and white. Was and remains my view. I also never said he wasn't 'a national treasure' or such. This though, Is a bit of strawman. It doesn't really work that way. That argument can be made for anyone who ever gets on a commercial scheduled flight, "it was going anyway". Supply and demand, if people didn't want to fly so much there would be less flights.

Oh I find this place an interesting diversion, always have. I stand by my belief that there's a certain reality to the views around here that is skirted elsewhere in that there's little to no fudging around the issue that life is finite for all of us. I also stand by my belief that there's an interest in the loss to all of us every time somebody with talent leaves us (guilty of the skirting right there) dies, the world is a lesser place for it. It is also of course a lesser place when some talentless but well meaning prick such as myself goes no doubt - but that's not noteworthy and with the best will in the world what are you going to say about it that is in any way interesting to anyone else? Which I guess, is my problem with the kids (or fathers to be bang up to date) of the famous, they are just as worthwhile, but they aren't noteworthy and you can't make them interesting because they did nothing that was (yet). -

It's an internet forum, I've been locked in my fucking house for the better part of six months (a few daredevil escapades aside) so no, I don't really have anything better to do. And no, I'm not that serious, but text is a dreadful way to communicate nuance. EP -

Not really, although.... This is a reasonable point, all deaths matter, why should celebrity deaths matter more? Well they don't of course, but the site is about celebrity deaths by definition, not celebrity births. Doesn't break any rules, why should it have been? Not up to me and I'm only expressing an opinion. Because I, and I suspect others default is to read 'new posts'. If I could blank a thread rather than a poster, I would have. For sure. I've said it often enough. But, I'm still going to post 'bored of this' if I am. Makes the world go round. -

Except that, this thread is just you really. Nobody else is posting this crap. Ok and Hello, even the Daily Fail have their place, I'd simply argue that this isn't it. I was drawn to this site because regardless of the actual deadpools it is (or was) the antithesis of that. I don't care what 'your' reaction is tbh. Take a vote on who cares, I'll gladly back down if you win. It's not personal. But even in the extra curricular forum this is way off the point of this place. -
Why? Your predictions are (even you admit) terrible.

Thing is, doesn't he have a point though? Attenbororough (and crew) must have an absolutely massive co2 (and all the rest) footprint compared to your average fortnight in Benidorm every other year or whatever? You could, and for me probably would, argue that 'his' having been there and filmed it in HD is enough to determine that 'I' don't need to, saving however many other individual trips? On the flip side, when he started out I sincerely doubt that was the reason, nor has he ever claimed we shouldn't do what he has (to my knowledge). It's a conundrum for me for sure. LFN ofc, has his own inimitable way of putting it.

If the next up is a porn loop, I'm sorry I don't care how deserving the cause I'm giving it a miss.

Absolutely. I'm personally unconvinced by a transcripts in general, if such exists lets have the audio, anybody can publish unverified text. Sure some come from more reputable sources than others but the 'it's too awful to listen to' argument only stands up for me if somebody (preferably somebodies) genuinely unimpeachable takes one for the team.

My memory is so shoddy that despite watching this only about 3 days ago I cannot recall if there was any reference to PEAP's in the actual programme however it did prompt me to re-appraise some of the information out there as one does, and there is some evidence that either or both of Ellison Onizuka and Judith Resnick were conscious long enough to activate their PEAP devices and that of pilot Michael J Smith (his switch was beyond his own reach on his back).

Can't abide soaps, never watch them, I accept however that any reasonably recurrent character in one does hit the spot as a UK celebrity for the purposes of deathlisty interest, unlike, say....the dad of some American who invented a computer operating system.

Sadly there's no way to put both a haha AND a facepalm reaction. Opted for the former, as the facepalm also has unavoidable negative connotations even if in this instance they wouldn't have been the real intention, but it was close.
