    Guess The Song

I'd definitely argue that one recording of that song is still one too many.

    Animal Antics

I've never understood these "if you know what you are doing these animals aren't dangerous" types. They can be right most of the time but it only has to go wrong once. It's Russian Roulette albeit with possibly with more than 5 empty chambers to the 1 that's loaded but it's still going to bite you in the arse in the end (pun entirely intentional).

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

I love drop the dead donkey. Got the whole lot on disk and still re-watch it from time to time. Daniel Craig was probably less dangerous than Deborah to be fair.

    Quiz Time

Not without cheating I can't, no.

    A Joke

This, I remember. Also, corny as heck but done well in that over-excited style darts refs have then it just about passes muster (if not, then not, well not for me). First dart hits 20 Second dart hits treble 20. Third dart bounces off the wire flies back into the audience and hits a nun square between the eyes. Cue ref: "ONE NUN DEAD AND EIGHTY!!!!" Probably the same vintage as the "Where's the soap?" one.

    One fewer than previously.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

Actually it was NOW tv which i briefly had access to, my error, I'm easily confused with all these services. That said, The Fall was definitely 100% on Prime. ......probably.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

There must be an increasing crossover between prime, which i do have, and netflix which I don't. I saw The Fall last year on prime, agreed, it was very good. I liked that the story ran the whole set of series rather than one story per series. Also on prime was The Tunnel which is a loose remake of the danish bridge (which was also remade as the american bridge...), I liked that too and continuing the use of GoT alumni it has Stannis Baratheon Stephen Dillane as co-lead.

Have another facepalm. Though I admit, I don't really see the pizza thing. It's early yet.

    9. Linda Nolan

That's the most compelling argument for moving to France I've ever seen. Ah bugger........ brexit, I knew there was a reason it felt like a shit idea, couldn't quite put my finger on it until now.
  11. Your posting appears as if everyone here wants to insult you, or keep the peace with you, or antagonise you, there's a theme becoming clear here. It's a hoary old maxim to say "the world doesn't revolve around you' nevertheless......there's a genuine point to them usually. 'offering an opportunity' to everyone looks like a royal decree. It's certainly managing to get my back up and I've not been involved really. Possibly it's simply badly worded, but its a text medium and words are all we have to go on. You've been all over this place like a 24/7 rash for a few days now, give it a rest eh?
  12. And yet.... Dragging up a thread last posted in 4 years ago and slinging yet more mud at folks is apparently joining in with the forum community and not looking for a fight at all. You alone are perfectly reasonable it's all these others. Ok.

    Deathlisters who are dead

He's still on Phantom's Christmas Card list I believe.
  14. I'll miss him, whatever else he was, he was popcorntastic entertainment sometimes. I also genuinely felt for what the guy was going through on occasion. But have to concur, although it wouldn't bother me, and like Toasty I never got one, the pix were too far.
  15. No not just you. Deathers as both deathers and kinnock agree with you, so does miracle aligner. and others whose names currently elude me. Get a vote going... Permanence is a state of mind round here. ETA Fuck this fucking heat it's a complete cunt, can't sleep. And no, swearing doesn't offend me.
  16. Welcome to the forums Mr Wired(a whole half hour now). My my you've been lurking a long time silently if you are referring to a poster who was banned as long ago as Zorders, has nothing else aside from Mr McCormick aroused your ire to make an account and comment in all that time? Oh and please get an avatar, thanks. Gz Kenny, you've livened the place up it seems, though i notice your attempt at zen has not only failed you've given up trying.

The Big Book of DeathList's Great mistakes

Same. I even thought maybe it's some American I should have heard of but haven't, so googled the name. The only Patrick Harrington of any prominence at all is a QC from Wales who acted in some high profile murder cases and was recently involved in a car accident on the M4, Unless he has a sideline in stand-up / comedy roles even wiki is unaware of it's not him, furthermore even if he does dabble at weekends or something it's been kept so quiet that by definition it can't be a big miss or even a miss at all really, never mind the worst.

This. aka: The Rice Davies defence.

    Beirut Explosion

Fuck off? (ETA: in that, that's where babies come from, should my intention not be clear).
  20. En Passant

    Beirut Explosion

Neither am I. However, I know enough about it to know that this isn't one and couldn't be one. So please stop speculating about it. A nuclear explosion is hard enough to create even when that is your intention. It cannot happen without highly enriched material (uranium typically) which of itself is extremely hard to create, you are trying to separate two isotopes of exactly the same element, so no chemical process will work. Reactors cannot accidentally cause a nuclear explosion (their fuel is only moderately enriched, nowhere near weapons grade), they can however like Chernobyl, suffer a normal explosion which spreads radioactive material all over the place causing massive devastation over years or decades.. This is also what a 'dirty bomb' can do. But you still need a radioactive material of some sort to spread everywhere, and where do you get it? More specifically to your question: Fallout is dependent more on 'where' you explode your nuclear weapon than it's innate construction. If near or on the ground it will irradiate all the earth and buildings and so on and the resultant particles rise up in the cloud and get blown about by the weather and are then rained down as fallout. If however you explode your device at height (as they are designed to do) this creates less fallout and also tends to cause more immediate devastation through blast wave and fireball. I stand to be corrected by anyone who has a better grasp. None of this is remotely possible in the Beirut explosion. Stop suggesting it and you'll get fewer facepalms

    Snooker

Bit of history then, as i said up above somewhere, that Deathers used to post about snooker results from time to time, but there wasn't a great deal of response (though I may be mis-recalling, perhaps others can correct me on that). I even checked on one of his snooker forum 'here' links, but it was sadly a 404 not found. However, I wish you good luck in your endeavours.

    Snooker

What you really need then is, let me think, ah yes, a snooker forum. Thing is, if there were threads for all sports "results" as opposed to being at least tangentially connected with, you know, carking it. the actual Deathlisty stuff would be buried under 135 threads of football drivel and so would everything else. A tragic oversight,. I shall fix that immediately by starting my 2nd ever thread. Ok, actually, you know what? Nvm.
  23. En Passant

    Snooker

Eye of the beholder though Lardy. What if, say, it had been Motorcycle Racing? Though I will admit that probably is a better fit for this place than that notoriously hazardous snooker, Willie Thorne, Alex Higgins, Bill Werebeniuk going back a bit and adding 35 pints a session notwithstanding...hmmm, come to think of it, As you were. Anyway, I'd enter Olympic Knitting, I must stand a chance if I learn how to.

    Snooker

We used to have a poster called Deathray, it''s oddly surprising he never started one. He promoted a few snooker forums around here that he'd started, curious that making a whole new forum seemed easier than a thread. Oh well. He's banned now mind, nothing to do with snooker though.

    How DLy Are They Anyway?

Suspect half the forum know 'A' Tom Smith . I know two...... just not that one. Cricket in Scotland, I can see that. :D. There's a Paul Allott who is a cricket commentator...
