I went to see Marianne last night at the Roundhouse and she was pretty much as Book describes. Walking very painfully with a stick, having to sit down frequently, lots of tea (well, that's what she said it was) and smokes. She was terrific though. I was prepared to be disappointed, but she can still sing and interpret a song powerfully. She was also quite hilarious. She did, I think, just 13 songs but was on stage for over 90 minutes. Clearly very tiring for her though. No encore. The gig was being filmed for something so you may have a chance to study the form yourselves at some point. Personally I hope she's around for a long time yet, she's a great character. She is divine, isn't she? By the way she is 69... not a good age this year...

Thank you very much TMIB, great work! And thanks for the nice comments at my teams. I hope you will be right! But again it will be difficult for all my theme team picks to obit in the UK. Last year they were no obits for Wiedemann and Bossi, this year starts with no obit for Leuwerik

Book replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
I would like to meet Mary Tyler Moore. Wanna hear some stories about being an icon in the 70s. -
I agree + a big Thanks to The Man In Black for his superb work I am very pleased with a combined 27th place for my main team. Never expected that!

Apart from all the typing mistakes (again), his signature sucks.
