3, rather: That's for European models. Apparently US models have a slightly different lay-out. regards, Hein

I think there was a seperate thread that I forgot all about when I posted the link to the BBC site last night. Well, no. A member started a new topic about him and I moved the posts in the "Near Misses" topic there, including the two above. regards, Hein

He has.

Hmm.. how did Google take me to this page and present the above for me???? Link to reply page disabled Reply pages sometimes get a mention in Google too. Just ignore. regards, Hein

Yesterday, after ferreting out the last spammers still hiding in the forum I recounted the post counts of all members. For some of you this has had the side effect that they've been demoted from earlier reached posting ranks. I apologise for that, I'm confident you'll soon repair the situation. regards, Hein

The Deathlist Christmas Special!
Magere Hein replied to Lady Die's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Strange, I thought that these were the most dangerous toys: and and Those'll teach grandchildren a game or two. regards, Hein -
I've been following cycling for more than 30 years and I'm a keen cyclist myself. I suppose it's a cloggy thing. regards, Hein

You beat me to it. A nasty accident. Accedent happen often in indoor cycling races, but they're rarely fatal. While Galvez is famous enough in my book he's hardly a Near Miss either. regards, Hein

Who? Author of Brave New World, Crome Yellow, After Many A Summer etc. Rather well known in an Anglo-Californian sort of way. You'll be delighted to learn that I read some of his books. My point was rather that I was an infant when he died. That, and a joke. Oh well. regards, Hein

The article doesn't mention it, but I suppose it was an indoor rally, so the heat doesn't necessarily correlate with the weather. Anyway, good news. It doesn't look like he's doing a Pinochet. regards, Hein

In a similar vein: my great-uncle Jan and his wife Jo died on the same day, both from natural causes. They were both in their eighties. The atmosphere at their funeral was rather strange, but not particluarly sad. regards, Hein

What's wrong with Jan Lammers, MH? I know the guy well, he's charm personified, and has always been pleasant & open with me. Unlike Huub "twat" Rothengatter. I met him once after a race at Zandvoort in which a driver co-sponsored by my brother competed. During the race Mr Lammers caused a collision between the two. Large part of the apres race discussion was that Lammers put the blame on the other guy. I won't repeat the words Mr Lammers used, since this is a family forum. I wouldn't know about Mr Rothengatter, although I've heard some rumours about his charming personality. regards, Hein
-
Good, but I'd much prefer if you'd jump up and down on that twat's right foot. regards, Hein
-
All of them, you mean. I agree. regards, Hein

Ok, Vlad, you heard it. Be a chum and post your deathlist here. regards, Hein

He was mentioned a few times in the The Comedians topic. regards, Hein

From my email to DDPHQ: I like Windsor's idea of making the number of teams a pick is in a scoring factor too. May I invite Rude Kid to join the conversation? regards, Hein

Friench actor Philippe Noiret dies at 76. Possibly best known from La grande bouffe. regards, Hein

Windsor: that's enough foul language for today. AtJ: may I suggest you ignore Windsor's latest outburst? regards, Hein

Firmly in the Biggs/Pinochet category, I'd say. I'd take a share in a DDP entry for him, though. regards, Hein
-
Oh, is that it? One learns every day. regards, Hein

Robert Altman's death is a hit for: Dave's Dead, Aye Dead Drunk Thanatopsis The Anfield Iron We Don't Talk Anymore No one of us, is it? regards, Hein

The name is AtJ's idea. I can always change it if a better suggestion is made. regards, Hein

Oh, come on! Think of the bickering we get about in which forum a topic belongs. That may keep us busy for a while. The real reason was to get rid of the endless list of pinned topics in the main forum. regards, Hein
