We have a similar one that we have to watch as part of the compulsory training programs each year. The acting is just as terrible Unfortunately in our office if someone did go postal with a gun, they could easily take out a quite a few people before they're stopped. The only rooms we have to take refuge in are conference rooms (which have large windows on the side so you could easily tell if someone is in there.) or the bathrooms. Our managers from high up have the philisophy that it should be all open plan and departmental managers should just have slighter higher walls for their cubicle. I appreciate such democratic sentiments, but what I'd like to know is what kind of arrangement those managers from high up have made for themselves. 3 ft brick walls, perhaps?

I don't know how such probabilities are calculated and from which statistics, but as a person who lives 5 m below sea level behind dikes that are designed to resist floods that happen once in a thousand years, I'm not laughing. According to a 2008 Delta Committee report "a regional sea level rise of 0.65 to 1.3 m by 2100, and of 2 to 4 m by 2200 should be taken into account." ETA: I suppose the same is true for the eastern coast of Britain.

Today in 1944 Polish Spitfire pilot (302 Sqdn RAF) Daniel Napiórkowski died in a German naval hospital at Rotterdam after he was shot down by Flak and crashed near Schipluiden, aged 24. I noticed this fact when I walked past his grave at Crooswijk Cemetary in Rotterdam this morning.

The weather in Rotterdam has been mild, but windy in the last few days, about 10 °C. The record temperature for 6 December in the Netherlands is 12.9 °C, in 1915.

Is that one of those "after 2000 years of TLC I think my lawn is fairly acceptible" jobs?

On 6 December 343 Saint Nicholas, Greek Bishop of Myra in modern Turkey, died, aged 73. This anniversery is celebrated in the Netherlands as Sinterklaas the night before, the main occasion for giving gifts and pulling legs.

I don't use Windows 10 (and don't intend to), but is this page How to cut, copy and paste in Windows 10 any help?

Be that as it may, who's Tony Adamowicz? -
Hehe. Does prove the value of drills, though.

That's one way of putting it. No guests, there, I see.

This poor woman is obviously incurably insane. In my part of the world she would get a place to live, and , if necessary, some new clothes. -

On this day in 2008 Danish architect Jørn Utzon died, aged 90. He's best known for a performing arts centre he designed in Sydney, Australia:

In particular, I like the well-grunted dialogue. -
I wonder if the Old Man intends to say something with that.

On the bright side: saves quite a bit in burial costs.

What´s the excuse?

I first read that as: "the 2 testicles I licked", which left me quite confused.
