Birthdays, Births, Anniversaries Etc...2006
grobler replied to Tuber Mirum's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Belated thank yous........I dont really celebrate birthdays... -
Dearest Clarissa - we have much in comment. For many months Banshees Scream thought I was Female. You remind me of David Walliams from Little Britain - can't think why... we really need to get this thread back on track....its nearly Dec 31st you know ! Though I suppose thats what happens when you let women out of the kitchen..... Why do we need to get this thread back on track. This side of the forum is exactly for this type of posting... I agree that it is right that this forum is the one for the more "meaningless" drivel that we all like and post to (with the odd passing refence to Dicky to keep things on track . ) But I dont want to wade through MASSES of wimmen speak that belongs somewhere else...

Would we count the disscussions in this thread as an online outing? does anyone care ??????????

I agree...this is embarrassing....

yeah...I've got my doubts about her....she WAS going to be a joker pick....now I dont think she should make the starting blocks....

oohhh.....as a chess player , this is one I could go to town about . I never met Jessie , but I've read a few bits and bobs (that wont have made the national press) For what its worth , in my (uninformed ) opinion ..... 1. Chess players are very unstable 2.Good chess players are TOTALLY unstable 3. Rape allegations are VERY difficult to prove 4. If the person alleging the rape is no longer alive , it is VERY , VERY difficult to prove 5. The verdict in this particular case was easy to predict . 6. You have to feel immense sympathy for Jessie...so sad...whatever the circumstances .

spooky....how did you know I had a glass in my hand ?

No. Anyhow, more strain on the old man as he's caught in the middle of a debae about his final resting place. yeah...I read this too....hes blind and has Alzheimers...(?) ....isn't that a recipe for a long lingering death (bearing in mind he will have the best of care...unlike most of our relatives who suffer the same ? ) . The bloomin' funeral spots aint been built yet , so another reason to keep him going . I say a no-no for 2007 Does that article mean that there will be a "Praise-land" ? I think the article means he will do his utmost to piss all his relatives off and survive for as long as possible

Not just with paedophiles. I've met cabbies who'd be happy with the gallows for a late library book. It's a well earned stereotype. Did they fire you? I expect it was something you said. Cabbies are just the same. I'd go work for ITV Millwall just to spite them. The last cabbie I met didn't mention paedophilia once . Though I suppose he was more concerned about the completely legless twat who was in the back close to chucking up a vindaloo all over the seats (me) Cabbies are generally pretty good with drunks. I got one a couple of Christmases ago and he pulled over for me to be sick in the gutter then he broke up the fight which started when someone laughed at me, bundled me back in the cab and got me back to the station. A real gent. I have to be honest....I like cabbies....they put up with my drunken antics on the few occasions I go out (no friends ya' see ! ) ......and I never leave a tip !

I mentioned this site to my sister and sent her a link - she didn't reply. dont expect a Christmas card from sis...

I'll set up my own little website, call it cowboyronnieuknews.co.uk, and it will consist of exactly one item - an obit on the living room fly. Interestingly, this will make said fly more famous than approximately 40% of the people selected on various DDP teams. I love satire me... I suppose Josie will make up for all the old codger's miniscule points... BTW folks, I've got the email re entry 07, have you? expecting 300 + entries for 2007 ......I think its amazing I've mentioned the DDP to people I work with......strangely , I appear to have been sent to Coventry....

Ertegun recovering. No he ain't 18 days... He's in a deep coma, unless they switch him off I'm backing him to get to 2007 I'm keeping him off my list until Dec 31st. I think I've killed off Anton Balasingham by putting him on my list last week Why won't it work on the ones I've put on my list for this year? He will linger for many a year....keep him off your lists everyone

Please please please pencil in Gloria Stuart to your list, Phantom. One more DDP hit for me means I should finish in the top 10. One more DDP hit for anyone 10 or less points behind me means mid-table obscurity. I want it noted here and now that I am going to win DDP 2007.....

That's now four in a day or two - Lamar Hunt, Ellis Rubin, Kenneth Cummins & Anton Balasingham, who was my joker. Five if you include Pinochet this week. Six if you include Allen Carr. Eight if you count Grove & Sewell for other reasons. To lose Carr & Balasingham is a grevious blow. I did, however, see a news report on Monday saying that he (Balasingham) was near death, so I can't be too surprised. Please Tammy Faye, just a bit longer, otherwise my previously strong entry is going to look pretty f**ked. I know how you feel. I had Lamar Hunt and Anton Balasingham as my 2nd and 3rd DDP and HDP picks. aaahhh.........its a REAL shame (hee-hee )

It should make for an interesting day on a bowler's wicket... Lets see.....its a spinners wicket......Aussies have Warne.....does anyone SERIOUSLY think we will score 200 ?......and batting last , we will get an awful lot less in the second innings -
I doubt he would get an obit...but from the sounds of it , he's a def. goner....so worth a gamble in case he does!

Joe has just been in hospital so it will take time for him to get on top form but he is getting there he has had a bone marrow transplant you might think he is a two bit celeb but other people dont why leave it till Dec 31st i like him a lot and have a tattoo on my back of him and no i am not sad if anyone says i am

No grobler you cant be a true fan if you give up on him now he has been through a lot and now his dad has just died and hopefully he will be on stage 10th 17th December and no i wont be moving on to someone else he is a great singer and a true gent i have met him somebody suggesting I am not a true fan ? Very few people are as interested in his health as I His singing sucks of course.... That is what you think he is an all round entertainer and he is voice is getting stronger and evey time he comes on stage his fans stand a clap before he sings and he always get presents i wont change to someone else i have been a fan for 10 years good for you Sue....I wish you many more years of listening to him . I , however , have moved on to other two bit celebs who are either very old or very ill . Joe has been a big disapointment this year , and I shall not be visting his web site after Dec 31st.....
