    UK General Election 2010

Well I live in Barnsley...a safe Socialist spot populated by working class sheep who haven't two brain cells between them . When will these idiots realise that only Maggie can lead us forward?

I must apologise for my absence this last year or so...however I had to pay a vist on the sad passing of this over rated actor. Far too much of a leftie for my liking...no then...wheres my favourite Maggie thread....

What a shame the Blunts failed to qualify for the Premiership . Perhaps they can blame their total lack of ability on Tevez......

What, like murdering a heavily pregnant woman and tasting her blood? Or performing a sex act on her baby son? and yet Jade Goody seems to be more hated... Anyway she's up for parole in the next couple of days so we'll see if there is any news on her health then. This cow is annoying me big time...why hasn't she died ???? There are many of us counting the points.....

Guaranteed to prolong your erection, Maggie's face next to your cock Thanks LB A bargain at 20 dollars...... I'd have preferred a bigger picture , and some sort of red , white and blue theme wouldn't go amiss....but a bargain none-the-less !

Umm...Godot . my man.....thats a scarey list very close to my own. I'd pick Foxtrot over Nursey Cryme no question...and I certainly wouldn't go with V d GG nor Billie Holiday (?) ...but otherwise... God...I hate being old...... The first album I ever bought was Bridge over troubled water...then it was Sgt Pepper....then Ziggy Stardust !...remember it well.....

Pop the corks....30 years ago today Maggie the Great assumed her rightful office.... I cannot contemplate what life would have been without her....Union rule...3 day weeks....hard earned tax payers money wasted on inefficient coal and steel industries...Labour Misgovernments....IT MAKES ME PROUD TO BE BRITISH !

yes , I agree......"kind" probably isn't quite the right word to use when talking about Maggies Greatness . "Strong , but fair " is closer to the mark . However , "kittenish" is spot on . I hope plenty of posters continue to share their happy memories of The Maggie Years , as we approach that momentous day of celebration.....

I think you are spot on with all these , my friend...but the question is....IS IT DESERVED ? the only one I personally would go for is Kate for best actress.....all the other "favourites" I have reservations about.....

The birth father is Jeff Braizer. He is like a Z lister celebrity who would be unknown were it not for Jade. He used to do kids TV, but has most recently turned to reality TV (a show called the farm). If I remember correctly he also did Celebrity wife swap. Wouldn't surprise me if he does make moves to get the cash - especially if Jack ends up back in prison. So this "Jeff Brazier" chap would appear to be quite an important piece of the jigsaw . I guess he has to remain quiet until the sad day when Jade passes on.....but presumably he will be front page Sun material the day after ? Cant she put all the money in a trust for the kids ? I'm no expert on tax law , but with a bit of help , she can pay a minimum amount in tax surely ? If she wants the cash to go to the kids , I'm sure she could do it.....does she really think the jail-bird hubby should inherit it all ? I could be way off the mark here...but I've got a feeling that our Jade isn't the brightest light in the bulb - set...... I probably should read the papers...I bet all this has been discussed to death already.......

I refuse to read anything about all this hype...but the destination of the Goody Millions is quite interesting..... Surely the father of the kids (who isnt the bloke shes married?) gets custody ? I've no idea who he is...but I'm sure he will quickly wake up to the financial possibilities . However if she leaves it all to her husband (she doesn't even need to leave it...its automatic isn't it ? ) , aren't the kids going to get nothing ? Ex lover is left with kids he doesn't want...and no money....all rather amusing.... Could someone with a bit more knowledge than me explain the likely outcome ?

Well...only a few hours until the Oscars..... I was wondering as to views re Best Film ? Slumdog seems to be a cert...but was it that good ? I'd def not go for Ben Button which is way over-rated , and I wasn't too keen on Milk or Frost/Nixon either . Am I the only one who thinks The Reader deserves the award ?

I've just come back from watching an extremely exciting 0-0 draw at Accrington Stanley..... The question is....."Is there a more run-down , decrepid , cess-pool of a place than Accrington ??"

Interesting article...heres my favourite bit... " I ask why dildos are central to his vision of the former prime minister. Is it a way of insulting her? No, he says, not at all. "The dildos just underline the mysterious, deeply buried sexuality that she has and it comes with a whiff of testosterone, not feminine sexiness. They're about the testosterone she surrounded herself with. She was literally surrounded by cocks. She should have been a feminist icon for the power she had, but she absolutely wasn't. " ah.....the power of Maggie The Great.....even a complete toss pot of a socialist "artist" with his head firmly stuck up his own *rse loves her !

    Margaret Thatcher

this is all getting far too boring and dinner-partyish . We should get back to discussing the real issues e.g. "How hot was Maggie the Great one in the 80s? " or "What do we think was her hottest outfit ?" or "who was hottest...Maggie or Di ?"....etc I come from a poor working class family of dockers . I cant speak from too much knowledge of the docks industry , but I can comment a little on the Steel Industry which I moved into after leaving Uni with my economics degree just about as Maggie the Great took over running the country . Britain was a joke . I spent all my days in the accounts office at British Steel playing desk cricket . The waste in the industry was impossible to calculate....all employees spent 90% of their time t*ssing it off going to union meetings and striking . Maggie tthe Great not only cured this , she made Britain Great too .The economy prospered...people who were willing to graft prospered...every one was a winner (if you chose to participate) . Just because a few lazy fat cat miners etc lost the huge pay packets they "earnt" does not make me regret being around at the height of Thatcherism one bit . All those lazy spongers should have got on their bikes a bit earlier instead of moaning . What I cant understand is the bitterness that still exists even now ??? Get over it people....business has moved on . We would all be living in one of the poorest countries in the world if we were still having to pay hard earned taxpayers money to subsidise inefficient mines and steel-works . And another thing....its a direct result of toss pot socialist policies that has caused my pension fund to crash this last year . oh....if only Maggie The Great was still running the country......

Let's do lunch? I'm sure you will both have a nice entertaining time together . Whinging on about nothing in particular....2 people caught up in left -wing media hype from the 80s..... I , however , shall be hosting a fun party celebrating another day in the life of Maggie the Great One..... see you there ?

    Seen Any Good Films Lately?

just got back from sitting through this (nearly 3 hours !) Actually...it embarrasses me to admit it...but its not bad ! Bit of a girls film obviously , but I had a few tears on the cheek on more than one occasion . The best bit for blokes though , is watching/listening to all the girls in the audience when Brad goes "young" for the first time . I thought the woman in front of me was going to wet herself Good looking bugger though I suppose . Surprised he was up for so many awards . He can actually act...but in this film his character is very slow and , well...boring . Cate B acts him off the screen. Def 4 stars.....

That's something I don't understand, getting married when you find out you're going to die soon . Wendy Richard and Joanne Evans did the same, why the need to die a married woman? What difference does it make. Might be something to do with inheritance law.....estate passes to spouse...
