Tahiras dead. Complications. 1 down, 6 to go. -
Although this has been broached before on the Colombian footballers thread, the thought has been reignited in my head of sexy politicans after I turned on GMTV at 06.10 the other morning & there was a sexy young scamp on the TV. "Ah good" I said, "always good to see at 6.10am, a nubile young female", but imagine my shock when the caption said she was a MP - Jenny Willott, of the Lib Dems So, I think it is high time to discuss sexy politicians. Now this is open to both male & female members, of course, but these are my suggestions for sexiest female politician: Let the debate** (**one post, probably from CP as a sympathy post ) begin!

FWIW, Emperor Quon from Sofia the First was named in Milton's honour. Not that it helps much with obit chances.
-
Another unused player from 1982 was Roberto Bailey of Honduras. He was killed in a car accident a few weeks ago after returning from a funeral.

Roldan WAS still alive until a couple of days ago. Giovaninni now becomes the oldest living from 1950. If Park-Jae Seung from 1954 is still alive (believe so) then he's the oldest living (born 1923)

Won't get a UK obit. If Herd is struggling no chance she will.

Thanks that's saved me watching it!

Well this doesn't sound as promising; https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2337663846285316&id=121769391208117 -

I'm working on this. There will be another OoO megalist later this year. I'm compiling the list at the moment and am doing it by alphabetical order by club. At the moment, I'm on Charlton so there's some way to go yet but I'm already on 150 names. Once the list is done I'll check the names and delete those gone and then we should have a complete list.

When I look back at past picks, I'm always amazed Luis Echeverria is still alive.
-
10 years on and two of my former DDP picks Mesrob and John Habgood have gone within days of each other. Can't be msny in that survivor list now.
-
Sorry to hear this, my former MP. For all that he seemingly was anti-gay, anti-women and anti-ethnic minorities, he did actually try really hard for his local constituency in between berating Nelson Mandela.

Frederico Rosa, who played in all three games for Portugal in 1986 has died, aged 61. All links in Portuguese thus far; https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cmjornal.pt/cm-ao-minuto/amp/morreu-frederico-rosa-antigo-jogador-do-benfica-e-internacional-portugues

Not at all. Id just love to have a definitive list for you but its so difficult to track some of these down. What I may do one of these days is go through a whole swathe of references but id need the quality time to do it. Its on my to-do list.

Tom Docherty b. 1924. Ex Norwich, Newport and Reading. Believed alive was definitely alive c. 2014. Definitely alive and born pre-1930 is Eddie McLaren who was born in 1929. Reading FCs confirmed oldest if the aforementioned Churchill and Docherty are gone. I see the recently deceased Johnny Walker wasnt on Ulitzer95 list , not that it matters now.

Stan Clements died November 2018. Add to the possibility of still living: Trevor Churchill : Reading and Swindon b. 1923.

Shame on you all for not going for Mulamba. I always had faith in you Ndaye. *ignores fact that i never picked him on DDP in the 5 years I competed since...

Johnnie Walker - how's he doing?
Octopus of Odstock replied to Death Watch Beatle's topic in DeathList Forum
Meanwhile the Johnny Walker that means the most to me, died earlier this week aged 90. Captain of Reading football club for ages. -
I know him chiefly as nephew to Maurice ahead of his film career but that's just me.

Waiting for a valid obit for that footballer who passed away this year? Wait no longer. Not sure how many are on list of the lost but loads of sports people here https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/sports-personality/46554724 Nigel Sims is on there.

On the Time Added thread, Maryportfuncity ponders if Broadis is the oldest living international and Fernando Roldan's name pops up. Well, I do believe he's still alive. The last details were in 2016; https://www.latercera.com/noticia/manuel-arriagada-a-esta-uc-hay-que-ponerle-mas-corazon/ where he is listed as being in a rest home. Having done as thorough a search as I can, I strongly believe a lot of the 1950 players that I knew little about have gone. Sure, there might be the odd one alive that I've got down as dead, but I can see it being no more than 2 out. So for 1950, I believe this to be as accurate as I can and all of these are either definitely or almost certainly alive (Saguier is my only real question mark): 1950 World Cup – 10 survivors MexicoPlayerDoB/Age 1Antonio Carbajal(1929-06-07)7 June 1929 (aged 21) ChilePlayerDoB/ Age 8Luis Lindorfo Mayanés(1925-01-15)15 January 1925 (aged 25) 9Manuel Muñoz(1928-04-28)28 April 1928 (aged 22) 12Andrés Prieto(1928-12-19)19 December 1928 (aged 21) 3Fernando Roldán(1921-04-01)1 April 1921 (aged 29) ItalyPlayerDoB/Age 8Giampiero Boniperti(1928-07-04)4 July 1928 (aged 21) -2Attilio Giovannini(1924-07-30)30 July 1924 (aged 25) 17Egisto Pandolfini(1926-02-19)19 February 1926 (aged 24) - Emilio Caprile (1928) ParaguayPlayerDoB/Age 9Darío Saguier(1926-09-11)11 September 1926 (aged 23) Definitely all dead: Brazil, Uruguay, Spain, Sweden, England, USA Believed all dead (but no information to confirm); Bolivia, Switzerland, Yugoslavia

Roldan was definitely alive in 2015. Ive not seen anything to say he's passed away but just to prove that old footballers dont always get obits is the fact that Mario Perez of the 1950 Mexico team was thought alive aged 91.I learnt yesterday he actually died as long ago as 1986! Ill keep delving into it.
