Horatio and Cecilia are both the same person - Iain. You've given him more attention than anyone else has on Twitter.

Ivan Mraz has died. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.teletica.com/amp/liga-deportiva-alajuelense/la-liga-y-el-futbol-tico-estan-de-luto-fallece-ivan-mraz_358573 -
Well, that's what I thought. The Queen and Prince Philip were doing that and Anne, Edward, William and Catherine taking them over.

Honest answer? Racing drivers were still dying in the late 1990's. Not in F1, but around that time, we lost Gonzalo Rodriguez, Greg Moore, Jeff Krosnoff in Indycar and an host of others in other racing. Wasn't beyond the realms of possibility that the rather aggressive on-track Schumacher brothers might have had a similar fate (Of course Schumacher senior broke his leg in 1999)

I don't know if this actually means anything tangible but King Charles has just taken the patronage of the Royal Automobile Club, replacing Prince Michael of Kent. Would the King take up a patronage if his time is limited? Is Prince Michael just winding down or does he have something more sinister? Or am I reading bollocks into a simple.announcement. I've been keeping this to myself for a while but it's now becoming clear Rupert Keegan's chances of reaching 2025 are pretty slim. He's very ill with cancer, but he has also never lived a very healthy lifestyle. Certainly worth considering for the Deathlist Cup, and if he makes the 1st January, he's going right in at the top of the DDP picks.

Looks awful and now wheelchair bound.

Being Scottish sticking with their story....

Being Scottish have posted both on X and Facebook that... Her niece messaged our Facebook page Don't know how true this is as someone else on X is urgently contacting Being Scottish via FB too. Have they been pranked?

I'm not French, but MatchID https://deces.matchid.io/search?q=maro+claude only shows one deceased Claude Maro, born 1938, so possibly too old to be your man.

Very true, I bow to your toast knowledge... er.. Toast

Esteemed motorsport commentator and author of bloody good motor racing books, Neville Hay has died. He was 85. https://www.v8sleuth.com.au/vale-neville-hay/

Is that with Nectar Card savings? Can't help feeling his meal is a little dry. Probably needs some spread which would push the cost up over a Big Mac meal deal.
-
Like to know where he could buy a loaf of bread, cheese AND roast beef for less than £8.
-
Has that ever happened before where the source is a valid one for QO but not written in English? Must be very rare.
-
What, both of them?
-
As mentioned in the Happy Birthday thread, Richard O'Sullivan is eighty today George Layton has posted this on X. Neither look like popping off anytime soon.

He has: Bernard Pivot QO https://uk.news.yahoo.com/bernard-pivot-malade-handicapé-ultime-164700445.html

Carlos Alberto Parreira too was poorly, the last I read.

I'm more shocked that a prisoner claiming that they are terminally ill was actually telling the truth.
-
Ninjaed because it took too long to cut that quote down on a phone. but thank you for posting.

So Robert (Bobby) Mailman has been on the radar of some teams since January due to his terminal diagnosis. So when reading this news - https://torontosun.com/news/national/wrongfully-convicted-n-b-man-dies-four-months-after-exoneration - it is with great surprise it's actually the other half of the wrongfully jailed duo - Walter Gillespie - that's died. Can't see Mailman making 2025.

I must admit, I forgot this chap was on the list. Anyway, he's coming over to the UK to perform at the Proms - https://www.theguardian.com/music/2024/apr/25/bbc-unveils-2024-proms-lineup-daniel-barenboim-daleks-and-disco If he's well enough to travel and conduct, I think he'll make it through the year.
