I was 11 years old and asked my mum if I could stay up to watch it. She said "no, you're not 'stopping' up all night to watch that rubbish".

Not even a theme team?

That was a fortnight ago; she's back in gaol.

His representatives get paid when he works, of course they're optimistic. They're only in it for the money. We post stuff because we want to, and yet we don't get paid. They only do they're job because of money on the other hand lol You don't get paid for posting stuff?

The article said that he is downsizing his home, which means he's planning to move somewhere smaller. So probably nothing ominous, just that there won't be room for it all. You were probably right. He's still doing talks, and looks hearty for a man soon to be 91 in the photo attached to that news article. Imdb also suggests he's going to be in this. That has to be an old photo judging by his appearance on BBC News at lunchtime today.

Travel agent Thomas Cook packed his bags for the last time and sailed off into the sunset on this day 124 years ago, aged 83. He's buried a 10 minute walk down the road from me, so I went this afternoon to pay him a visit. His plot can be seen from University Road as shown here. The exact location of his plot is here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/52%C2%B037'10.6%22N+1%C2%B007'41.8%22W/@52.6196057,-1.1282161,150a,20y,0.55t/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d52.619618!4d-1.128268

I'd have to lose me trousers as well.

I remember watching a video a while back where some guy in an open carry state drove his wife and kids to the airport whilst sporting a semi-automatic rifle over his shoulder. He wasn't getting on the plane, just the family with him were. The police approached him in the terminal and asked about the gun to which he replied something along the lines of 'just exercising my second amendment rights'. The police were forced to walk away.

It seems Turkish Airlines are landing however foreign airlines including British Airways, KLM and Lufthansa are turning back mid-flight. Looks like a plane load of holiday makers from Manchester are about to land in Dalaman presumably oblivious to what's going on. If no one has turned up to work baggage retrieval there'll be riots. Manchester, Birmingham and Gatwick flights all landed within the last hour. -

Looks like there is a quatorze Juillet terrorist attack in Nice, France. "50 feared dead". http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3691019/Several-people-injured-truck-crashes-crowd-Bastille-Day-celebrations-Nice.html -

I feel so much younger now that we have a prime minister who's older than me. -
How much of a risk is adding a stick of ram manually? It's more of a question to ask is it worth it? Upgrading an old contraption in my view isn't really worth it. Games work best with a high speed processor, lots of RAM and a top notch graphics card. One out of three isn't really ideal.
-
The virtual RAM should stop the game from crashing but that's about all. Totally agree with EP's view on the subject.

Boy, 12, died in freak accident while watching football match when his brother tackled an opponent and sent a metal peg - which was holding down a FA 'Respect' banner - flying 30 yards into his head. R.I.P. young man.

You need a caddy. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-3-0-SATA-Hard-Drive-Enclosure-HDD-2-5-inch-External-Case-Caddy-Black-UK-/112041275272?hash=item1a162e2f88:g:tkQAAOSwvg9XcmSA Just make sure you get the right size for your hard drive. Put the hard drive into the caddy and plug the caddy into the computer USB port. Simples. I thought caddies were to put your old internal hard drives in? Which is not what I intend to do. If it's in its own case then simply plug it into the PC's USB port. The drivers should automatically install. If you haven't got the cable to connect the two then you'll need to get one. Yeah I understand that for just using the drive to store things. But my understanding was you can't just run programmes such as games off an external hard drive - I thought you had to "convince" the external hard drive it was part of you're main computer. I've got a slighter bigger issue now in that the pc is actually only 2GB ram. If you install the game on the external hard drive then you can run it from there. You can create virtual RAM and there's a video showing you how to do this but of course we can't post videos and I cant post links. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nk14nPuz4ns
