Execution Watch on radio KPFT are reporting the execution will go ahead.
-
Y'all can listen in live to Execution Watch on radio KPFT tonight between midnight and 1am GMT (6pm and 7pm CT). How is it Execution "Watch" if you can only listen ? I wondered about that. I can only assume watch is a play on words and refers to a timepiece as opposed to a view. In other words, countdown to execution. It's not a live feed from the execution chamber but a group of people in the studio who have the events as they are happening relayed to them. At least that's how I remember it; I've not listened in for a couple of years.

Coming clean, I have to admit to (in my leather clad fucker from hell punk rock days) once getting plastered drunk whilst partying in a cemetery, falling asleep at some unknown gravestone, and awaking to the sound of a couple cars entering the graveyard the next morning only to discover it was Veteran's Day. I scurried to wake up my mates and we carried our cooler outta there all non-chalant and shit. SirC On my way home after nightclubbing and in the early hours of a warm night in the early 80s, I climbed over the cemetery wall just about here. I was very naughty with a young man I'd met about 10 minutes earlier. My grandfather's grave was within sight. -
Popping trospers is maybe something I should try.

I would suggest that might be too high it would be a lot to keep uptodate I would guess 100-200. Bob Chaundry, former BBC obit chief writer, said "several hundred". There was a bbc documentary about this a number of years ago. I can't remember who presented it, but it wasn't a top name journalist, and the BBC had their obituary on file too, which leads me to believe we could be talking a four figure number. You wouldn't at least know the name of the documentary? There's an interesting webpage on the BBC site regarding obituaries. In the eight minute video, obituaries editor Nick Serpell says, "we don't tend to do obituaries until people are in their 70s by which time their career is pretty much behind them". http://www.bbc.co.uk/academy/journalism/article/art20150109150323367

This was the first thread I found on this site. I had this "whatever happened to Richard O'Sullivan" moment, and while trying to search for news articles, this site came up in the search. So two hours later... "What did happen to Richard O'Sullivan then?" *reads* "I think he's living in Maryport..." LIVING and MARYPORT in the same sentence - post of the fucking decade!! I'd never heard of Maryport before this forum (as I've mentioned before, geography was never my strong point) but somehow over the last several years, I've built a picture of it in my mind. Sort of Royston Vasey crossed with one of those abandoned ghost towns you'd find in a zombie flick. With the twist that it thinks it's Coronation Street. There's a Sealife Centre and some redevelopment of the docks in recent years, mind. The odd (as in random and bewildered) tourist has been spotted there. I posted this earlier on in Death Anniversary Thread; it included this link and the last line of which says "A 1954 Lowry painting of Maryport, in Cumbria, is expected to fetch up to £250,000 at Christie's on Friday".

They could be either of those but I suspect the former is more likely. https://otorrents.com/Game-Of-Thrones-Season-5-2015-1080p (Working at the time of posting.)

Charon's correct in saying you often get something like this to print off yourself: but on a point of pedantry, sir, it's not authentic packaging which is what Toast asked.
