Drowning your sorrows, I assume. RadGuy is 14 and in Illinois; not even his mum can give him a can of weak beer. https://www.illinois.gov/ilcc/Education/Pages/Under21Laws.aspx#drink Minimum age for drinking (not purchasing) alcohol in the U.K. is FIVE RadGuy.

Is the house opposite still boarded up? If so why didn't the virgin media twat just park in that tarmac garden? Yes but more often than not a Merc is parked there. The side street however looked like this, except there were two cars parked on the left. I think he wanted just to park as close to the junction box as he could rather than walk a dozen metres.

This is the scene on Google Maps. The council tarmacked over the grass verges to allow people to park off the main road. At the time there were plenty of available spaces and even the side street was almost empty. This guy decided to park completely blocking the pavement and the lowered kerb at the junction. I took the photo because as I was walking towards the front of the vehicle, a woman in a mobility scooter ahead of me had to bump down the raised kerb as the lowered part was inaccessible. I caught up with her at the shops further up the road and noticed that the rear right tyre was flat. I would have spoken to her but a sign on the back of the seat said she was deaf.

I have lived in BC my entire life and I had no idea this even existed. All I could find is that you must have ID and/or immigration papers on you at all times. So is this unique in your experience of U.S. and Canadian border etiquette? There are warning signs between Delta and Point Roberts. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@49.0022042,-123.0396553,3a,90y,187.44h,78.7t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sgP16S7-HiJ_jU6JsBnUKCQ!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo0.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3DgP16S7-HiJ_jU6JsBnUKCQ%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D68.412216%26pitch%3D0!7i13312!8i6656 https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@49.0021955,-123.0887567,3a,90y,180.06h,77.76t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sgKVLQf_CGtwfMbDY5ZAtog!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 -

Can anyone (especially if you're in British Columbia) shed some light on this? The links below take you into Google maps and show a road named Peace Park Drive in Surrey B.C. The ditch at the side of the road defines the border between the U.S. and Canada. It would seem that people are encouraged to cross the border even to the point of telling you that dogs must be on a leash and a post that says United States on one side and Canada on the other side. There is no sign saying you must not cross. I remember seeing on the news a while back that police officers in the border towns of Stanstead and Derby (where the Haskell Free Library is), were telling people not to cross the open border but to go via the official crossing to the east. Why the difference in policy? https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@49.002141,-122.7530034,3a,90y,256.26h,77.47t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sgind5tAEl-A2W35wpVGiIA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@49.0020648,-122.7530691,3a,90y,0.99h,63.9t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1ss1ImZsOmKcgqc9vwP0R67g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 -
