Why do all the wrong Israelis keep dying? Sharon or Shamir next please... That I could live with if either Sharon or Shamir were to go next. I'm having the same problem with NASCAR drivers, I picked Parsons and then Bobby Hamilton & Dan Shaver both die

he's also responsible for bringing us Muttley who I think is worth a mention - I always liked Muttley but think he fell in with the wrong crowd. Such a great loss and a very talented animator. One of the true masters before the use of cgi clouded the talents of animation. I bought "Lady and The Tramp" for my daughter on dvd last month and she loves that movie.

I can easily shorten the list by pencilling them in for next year on my list and just sit back and watch them drop like flies
-
I think it's nice of the Iraqis to drop the genocide charges for Saddam

I guess if the coach driver became a serial killer and at various opportunities would plow into groups of people or start knocking random vehicles off the road, then possibly he would qualify.

to be homest I don't know a great deal about her, but to me it sounds like she's just known for being ill. If she was just an example by the health charities rather than one that went out to promote a charity then possibly not Sort of like the Terri Shivos of the world

It is scraping the bottom of the barrel somewhat though. It's almost like watching the latter episodes of "This is your life" and watching tributes to actors, musicians etc who are in their 40s and still have a good 40-50 years left in them. I guess that's why I set a ruling in our local dead pool that you can't have anyone just because they're known for just being old or ill. If they've achieved a level of fame whether it be international or local fame in their own field but happen to be the oldest survivor of their profession at the same time that would be acceptable. Only last night, my father-in-law asked if he could include Sam Dana in his selections. At 103, Sam Dana happens to also be the oldest former NFL player. So I agreed. Likewise, I've included Henry Allingham in mine as even though he's Britain's oldest man (which wouldn't qualify him) but he is the only surviving founder-member of the RAF which is some achievement.

I think the bloke who lives down my road looks a bit worse for wear, how about if I put him on my list then when he dies, I'll phone the newspapers to get an obit typed up?
-
DDT, I've a feeling he might get a brief obit in the Independent
-
As mentioned by DDT last year, Tomasi Kulimoetoke's condition has worsened. Link

There ain't really much news on Johnson at the moment apart from he's making a steady recovery. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZ But he's not completely off the danger list yet. we could do with a "sleep" emoticon
-
And when you do, could you post it in the proper thread? New Year, same old off-topic whoring. I never thought I'd say this, but I agree with Star Crossed. How did a thread about Tim Johnson suddenly become a discussion on the current health status of Mollie Sugden? Male US senator....aging English female TV actress... hmmmmm there's a connection there, but I just can't place it

Confusion! Murder, suicide or both? regards, Hein I believe it was a murder & suicide pact. She herself was murdered, and the man who murdered her, turned the gun on himself as the bodies were found side by side. As she wasn't restrained in anyway, or it seems there was no attempt made to get away, police believe she was willing to be shot.
-
God how I fear. I'm surprised he was so high up on the list, although he has been making steady progress with recovering over the past couple of weeks although he's not entirely off the danger list
-
ermm shouldn't it be ideas for 2008? Or is it because your idea occurs in 2007, then... well you get the picture. Anyway, I have an idea which is to give proper advice slips at cash machines / ATMs in banks. Rather than printing out your statement it should have things like, "don't wear brown shoes with blue trousers." which I think is fairly good advice.. coat... hat... ok I'm off
-
He was actually only ever Parliamentary Under Secretary for Defence (RAF), not Defence Secretary. That job was occupied by Lord Carrington. Sorry to be a pedant... oh well, he's dead anyway
-
She also has her own website
-
Lord Lambton former Uk Defense secretary (1970-73) has died at the age of 84
-
What channel? So far it's only been aired on Iraqi television, I don't think any other news network have received the footage of still photos yet.
-
Maybe there will be a book about the trial. 120 days of Saddam I'll get my coat
-
There's still a lot of speculation as to whether or not he will be executed this weekend. If he is, it will be done swiftly and in the midst of a lot of secrecy so as to avoid any rescue attempts.
-
I think that'll be it for the year. Although knowing my current track record, there'll probably be another on NY's eve

Trouble sitting as well then. A much earlier Carter thread is located here, http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=1430 ah - didnt see that... no i dont think you can die of hemorrhoids, but i think you can from pancreatic cancer [Topics merged -- MH] Anyone who has haemorrhoids would have some difficulty with walking. Carter appears often on CNN talking to Larry King and looks well for his age.

Merry Christmas to everyone in Ireland, UK and everywhere that's to the East of there. We've still got another 5 hours left of Christmas Eve to go.
-
Bit sad about that, there's always a big name that goes over the xmas hols. But why did it have to be Charlie?
