Sad to hear of Peter Vaughan dying. 2016 has certainly overstayed its welcome. Got to meet him when I was 8 along with the rest of the cast of Citizen Smith. Enjoyed watching him in Porridge too. Oh well, he had a good innings.

Of course, there's six weeks or so of dying time to go, so things might change Sounds fun! I like Traveling Light. Me too, but "Leaving the Table" shades it for the show because it's a perfect closing song. Indeed. Leaving the table is the perfect song to end a tribute in. Too many people choose "Hallelujah". To be honest, if I hear another version of that songs, I may just strangle someone.

That's ok. Leonard Cohen himself said about music he doesn't like, is that he keeps his mouth shut because he knows that people don't like his music. That's not to say that you're not entitled to your opinion, but more that Cohen was acknowledging that his music wasn't going to be liked by all and sundry. It's the same with Bob Dylan, his voice, lyrics and music style are not going to be liked by all. I used to be ridiculed at school for liking his music. Now strangely enough, one of the people that used to poke fun at me is a Nick Cave fan. I guess you could call Leonard Cohen's music "musical marmite".
