Papers always use the phrase "fighting for his life" when somebody is in hospital. Though they never say who the opponent is... The opponent is always The Grim Reaper. They don't use the phrase "fighting for his life" if the person in hospital is a woman, otherwise that would be incorrect.

Macy's is closing about 100 out of 675 department stores nationwide. Most will close in early 2017.

Still haven't found out why Leonard G. Phillips was taken to hospital, although I have heard that it isn't anything life threatening.

"serious health issues", "Mayo clinic", you say? The Mayo Clinic is one of the foremost clinics for the treatment of cancer. I have a friend who is currently at the Mayo Clinic who is nearing the end of her chemo treatment.

Just heard that Leonard G. Phillips (lead vocalist for The Dickies) was taken to hospital yesterday evening. Not sure yet why he was taken to hospital or how serious his condition is. Will post more when I get more information.

Well he was only 51 when he died, and unless she suffered any injuries in the fire or has any history of poor health, I think it would be safe to assume she's got a few more years left in her.

Well. Then why isn't trump in jail??? He's clearly a criminal if that's true. Because at this point it's just a rumour.

Rumour has it that after his first intelligence briefing, Trump leaked classified information about a U.S. base in Saudi Arabia

Just by coincidence they were showing Picnic at Hanging Rock the other day on TV here and I was telling the wife that Vivean Gray was still alive. Oh well, there another to cross off my long list

I wondered why I hadn't seen their adverts on TV for a while, seems to be mostly adverts for Match. Christian Mingle, and Farmers Only these days

Gene Hackman retired a while back, so he's not likely to be in the news neither would you see him in a new acting role. Bill Treacher quit acting in 2007 as he is suffering from ataxia which hinders mobility. Out of the two, I think Treacher is most likely to go first.

I thought - especially in Islamic terrorism - you were better off as a martyr than a living shooter?Suicide is a no-no. If you want your quota of Pokemon Go players when you reach Heaven, you have to be a martyr to the cause. It's similar to vikings getting to Valhalla providing they fought in battle and died with a sword in their hand

Might not be a terrorist attack. According to reports the police hadn't fired any shots and the shooter may be one of those that are dead. Since terrorists don't usually commit suicide, it doesn't add up.

Ill say here and now this looks like the kind of spot that wouldn't even make points on the Deathrace! How about if I rephrase it to be Dee Dee Ramone's former sister-in-law? Hmm, how about you post a link that suggests a reliable news source in English, even her local paper, will cover her demise? I'm scanning the radar screen here and seeing nowt. Don't have one. Word came from Vera's facebook page -

ISIS haven't claimed this one as one of their attacks, just that he was a soldier for their cause. His wife's cousin has said that he wasn't a Halibut, he was a shit who beat his wife regularly. -

I hope they make it.Numbers keep changing 50+ in critical condition Hollande said 50 are hanging between life and death, and are described elsewhere as critical. Around half of those are on life support, which is closer to the 18 originally stated. I'm guessing most of those on life support were included in the original 18. The rest are critical, which is obviously still very serious but not necessarily immediately life-threatening. Think the death toll could still rise to around 100 though. I heard 200 injured, 50 in critical and about 20 on life support. Probably many that suffered minor injuries were due to the panic that ensued while people ran to safety -
Next time, go here: https://forums.deathlist.net/topic/8369-harry-dean-stanton/?p=201876 Didn't know he has a thread....search engine broken.... He turned 90 yesterday
