The first one has had stage IV cancer on and off for five and a half years and it keeps reoccurring. His long term prospects are very poor.He is a massive name in the UK. Likewise Turnbull also has stage 4 can we but it has spread throughout his bones and he said he could not take chemo and came off it.Another huge UK name. The cancer is terminal and will get him sooner or later. Gulpilil is a more contentious name but his roles in various films like crocodile Dundee and the Walkabout make him notable. He isn't an a listed but will definitely get a UK obituary maybe even 5 or 6. Same goes for Palau. Will get many UK obits. I mean the committee have chosen Clegg Downue and Christie in recent years.3 names I never expected to see on the list.

Once it passes royal assent it must be enacted upon.Does it state when the bill must be signed and delivered by? -

What I am trying to find out is at what point is Johnson mandated by law to sign the extension?I reckon he will leave it to the 11th hour then resign as PM hoping that a government of national unity could not be formed quickly enough to get a new PM to submit the extension request. -

Wouldnt a " government of national unity" almost certainly be formed in a no confidence motion being succesful. -

Johnson won't get a simple majority as he holds no majority. -

I think it is a hard sell to say Labour are committed to leaving when Watson Thornberry Starmer actively want to remain. It appears they are pro referendum with the aim of remaining.Interestingly though Corbyn based on his 32 year backbench career as very much anti EU as we're many of the supporters of Tony Benn.Issue is he has had to support the remain stance as given the majority of his supporters and MPs are very committed remainers. -

I suspect we disagree on most political matters but can't disagree with a word of that. The main political parties are cliques. You to the line and change it until you get where you want.Hardly any MPs have a shread of integrity. Was probably always that way but Brexit has shone a light on it as did the expenses scandal. -

You are correct the threat of no deal was always there.Labour went from ambiguous in 2017 to full on remain in 2019.The reason Corbyn is backing out of a general election at the moment is he knows Boris will change the date to November if he possibly can. -

Issue is that the national interest is perceived differently by different people I guess -

Or he could resign as prime minister just before he is required to sign the extension. -
