The only hint we have is that she had a build up of fluid around the heart related to the cancer which is a bad sign and commonly associated with stage 4 lung cancer where the fluid around the heart is invaded by cancerous cells.The fact that she only got offered 6 rounds of palliative chemo leads me to believe she isn`t telling us exactly how awful it is.One because she wants to stay positive and two if she had said where it had spread and how much people may have been less likely to donate. to her fund.

It is very difficult to make a definitive prognosis without knowing where her cancer has spread too.Stage 4 lung cancer is lethal but without knowing where and how much it has spread too it is different to know what her odds of making next year are.Stefan Karl is even harder to predict as I don`t know what stage his cancer is.Pancreatic cancer has such a poor general prognosis that I reckon he will be gone within two years.

She is set to reprise her role as Zoe Tate for two episodes next month.

Apparently he wants to focus on some writing.He is near retirement age also at 64.I thought he was younger than that.

I am hoping it is just his severe bout of bronchitis that has made him so frail.I do worry it is more than that.Then again bronchitis can be bloody awful.

I wouldn`t be surprised at all if the edest 3 sisters were the last ones standing.Must be awful for the women in the family as they must all be thinking they are on burrowed time.A friend of mines mother has terminal cancer at 51 and both her parents died before 50 and the psychological impact of that is quite profound.

Their cases has gathered media attention in Britain already.If they don`t obit I would be shocked.
