Sad to hear she has gone but not in the least bit surprised.She was always a damaged individual who appeared to try her best in life. As someone with long term mental health issues myself I find her hard to analyse psychologically.A complex but nonetheless tragic individual.

The BBC newsreader George Alagiah has been diagnosed with bowel cancer for a second time.He was first diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer in April 2014 which had spread to his lymph nodes and liver.Due to the presence of 8 tumours in his liver a substantial part was removed.He underwent 3 operations and nearly 18 months of chemotherapy.No news on the stage of his cancer or whether it has spread again this time but given the seriousness of the last cancer diagnosis it looks grim.Alagiah is 62 and has worked for the BBC for 29 years initially as a foreign correspondent covering Rwanda Afghanistan and Somalia.For the last 15 years he has been the presenter of BBC News at 6 (Most recently 15/1/18).He has also interviewed Desmond Tutu Nelson Mandela Robert Mugabe and Kofi Annan. Surely a possible future DL candidate if he lasts long enough ?

Yeah a big national figure when they reach 94 is worthy of a thread however I doubt it will be used to advocate her inclusion for DL 2024. Pete Seeger was also doing seemingly great until he died quickly at 94.Christopher Plummer and Lionel Blair were sprightly until near the end also.

I bet they have given accounts to serious criminals but someone who they disagree with politically is where they draw the line.Many of my friends and family disagree with me on politics but I'd be outraged if they were treated the way Farage gas been.

Denise and Maureen out of the sisters.Do`t think either of the brothers have had cancer then again it mainly seems to be breast cancer that has the genetic component for the Nolans.

Her sister Coleen reveals she has two types of skin cancer.Basal cell carcinoma on her shoulder and melanoma on her face. Prognosis is excellent and caught early. Still 58 has had weight issues is a heavy smoker and has a terrible family history of breast cancer. This makes her the fourth Nolan sister to be diagnosed with cancer.Their father also died from liver cancer.

Mental or nervous breakdown.Probably means his behaviour is erratic and is therefore unsafe when left to his own devices.

I mean for someone with serious underlying mental health issues to be put through this extreme level of stress in such a public and vicious way could easily trigger a nervous breakdown or some other serious adverse mental health reaction. I suffer from clinical depression and stressful situations can exacerbate symptoms and I have never been in a situation anywhere near as stressful as Huw is experiencing right now but I can imagine that level of stress would push me over the edge.

I remember her saying after her father died she would seriously consider assisted suicide if she got alzheimers .Something to bear in mind.
