I doubt this story is true like many of Anhalts claims.I find it hard to believe she is mentally capable of giving consent.Maybe the Doctor wants to bend the rules to just put her out of her misery though.I have heard of Doctors taking the law into their own hands by overdosing patients that are in the final stages of life so maybe she really is near the end now.

That's a great list Shaun! I was trying to remember a particular female author and now you've spared me having to rack my brain -It was Diana Athill. I see I havent been able to persuade you of the merits of 96 year old aristocrat The Dowager Duchess of Grafton..... She did cross my mind but I ran out of spaces. Actually you didn't... Number 41 is still open. I will suggest Peter Skellern then.Peter Sarstedt is an inspired choice.Certainly notable enough and health wise is up shit creek without a paddle.

I think Christie and Pomsel would definitely get substantial media coverage when they go.

By Deathlist standards could Helen Fawkes and Steve Hewlett be eligible? I mean any BBC figure can expect extensive media obituaries even if their death is unexpected (e.g Komla Dumor in 2014).My point is yes both have terminal cancer but if they dropped dead without warning their death would still be expected to be covered in the UK media? So does that make them eligible?

Please not the lovely Betty White the last of The Golden Girls! Some excellent picks in there although Val Kilmer has denied publicly he has cancer for what it's worth I like Betty and hope she doesn`t die but she is nearly 95 now.Well do you believe Val Kilmer is telling the truth?I don`t! I have no idea what to make of Val Kilmer to be honest with you! His public correcting of Michael Douglas on the cancer claim was definitely put across as giving the impression of being "definite" Listen to his voice when he was saying it.It has a wheezy rattle at the back of the throat.I knew a guy who had throat cancer and it sounded the same noise. If it is not throat cancer what is it?A swollen tongue as he claims it is would not lead to that cackle in the back of the throat. He sounded like Anthony Hicks.Throat cancer has a distinctive sound.

This is a good top ten, however, I don't feel like the top 5 will all be terminally ill. I feel like Zsa Zsa is the new Ronnie Biggs, which is why I think she'll be #1. She could well be number 1 and that would not be a bad call.My argument would be that she is not terminally ill and thus has the capacity to outlive her terminally ill rivals.

I'm glad that so far your not prioritising Olivia De Havilland as I've got a feeling she's going to make it until she's at least 102.Shes in better fettle than Kirk Douglas imo. She would have been in my top 20.

The first ten names on the deathlist 2017 should be: 1)A A Gill 2)Leah Bracknell 3)Colin Meads 4)Piers Sellers 5)King Michael of Romania 6)Zsa Zsa Gabor 7)Billy Graham 8)Tony Booth 9)Kirk Douglas 10)Herman Wouk

Looks well enough but visibly much thinner! Did you rule out medicine at an early age Shaun? What I meant is that he doesnt look particular unwell here.Slightly craggier voice and clearly lost a good stone or two but if I didnt know he was so ill I wouldnt have guessed.I mean he looks better than Robin Gibb did when he was a few months from death. Ah Gibb Vs Megrahi, those were the days.Ah those were the days I was still a lurker!

There's been some discussion over her date and place of birth. Turns out she might have been born in 1924 in Cornwall. Well we will see if an obit comes.Once she has been dead for 3 months feel free to add another name to your list Handrejka! Also if she was born in 1924 and obits you will still need a new name. And that applies to anyone who gets a pick in the wrong generation (including morbidkid)
